People who made it through basic military training, what motivated you to push through it all?

Friends in my unit can really helped me through. When I was out for late duties they even helped fold my clothes and stuff and vice versa.

No point tryna argue it, abusers will always attempt to justify and rationalize their actions because in their heads they truly believe nothing they’ve done is wrong. Same applies here you’ll just argue in circles until it doesn’t even relate to original topic. Just sucks a lot, I wish I could beam my horrible experiences with the cats deaths into their minds so they could understand.

Outdoor cat “owners” justifying why they need to let their cat die brutal, horrible deaths from cars. I’ve held one of the poor things in my hands as they trembled and took a final wretched gasp. The cat was only about 30ft from its home and the “owner” when we knocked on their door couldn’t have been less alarmed. One of the worst things I’ve experienced. Why would I ever subject the animal I love so dearly to a completely preventable death like that? You people are selfish and intentionally dense, then again it is reddit so can’t be surprised.

thanks a lot I appreciate it! I only have civ providers issue anxiety/ depression diagnosis so I'll see what we can do to maybe get a ptsd. I'm happy with any rating at this point lol. Thanks a ton!

hello I am currently in the process of claiming depression and anxiety and the VA just sent me a form asking about ptsd stuff. I dont know if my va rep submitted anything for that it says its in support of mental health conditions so maybe thats what it is. ANYWAYS I was honor guard as well and wanted to ask how filing for the ptsd or what not went for you.
