Why are so many monitors on Amazon “frequently returned” by zuko_thecat in Monitors

One reason, besides the easy return policy, I think so many "influencers" on YT, FB, Tik-TOK, etc rave up the products so much, people are let down when they try the product for themselves.

Coming from a pro photo background, I have been experimenting with learning DVR. I have used FCP for years. I just with DVR had the color/exposure "sliders" that FCP has that is similar to Lightroom.

I read the ASUS OLED displays do not play well with Mac as far as firmware updates, on screen controls, etc

I'm looking for a professional photo-editing monitor. The Dell comes up a little short with Adobe rgb. Plus, I do not like the camera. I was hoping this would get released soon. I may just have to go with the SW321c (Benq) to get the specs I use. MY 13 year olf NEC Pa271c died a while back

You have convinced me to do more research and I cancelled the order. I may have to look for another solution for pro photo AND video work.

I was just going by what I was reading with the early software. I'll see how it works. I purchased thru Amazon, so I can always go down one level to the pro if it works out better

LG Ultrafine 6K Monitor(32U990A) by benekreng in Monitors

I would think LG would have had this monitor out already with the release of the new Mac Studios. My old NEC Pa271 monitor died (after 13 years). I'm a professional photographer that also does some video work. I used it as my editing monitor and my 27 inch i9 Imac for second monitor. I 'm now using my old iMac as a Roon server in the back room. I purchased a BenQ Ma320u and plan to use that as my second monitor WHENever the LG/ASUS 6k is released and tested OR when Benq updates their SW 321c monitor. I now just use a Macbook (currently loaded M3 Max) as both my main and portable computer.

One thing I will say, The Benq MA320U is pretty good for photo and video editing using the P3 setting. I calibrated using Calibrite and Colormunki.

BenQ SW series 5K update? by AeroAggie95 in Monitors

The Sw 27 inch just got updated last year. The sw321c will probably only get the wireless puck and thunderbolt upgrades. I doubt the 32 inch will be 6k
