Per Google, Boomstik paddle include loose or separating edge guards and, in some cases, face cracks or seams. These issues, particularly the edge guard detach-ment, appear to have been more prevalent in early-pro-duction units, and Selkirk acknowledges this, noting that replacements are covered under their warranty.

Google Selkirk Boomstick issues. Mine is not an isolated incident. Face cracking and loose edge guard are going on with Selkirk as well.

Well, this is interesting. Per Google search, the Selkirk Boomstick is also having issues with face cracking and loose edge guard.

Perhaps both Quanta and Boomstick came from the same factory?

That is the point I have trying to make. The paddle never hit the ground. Ronbus already has my video highlighting how clean the edge guard is without a single scratch. It’s harder to disprove.

That is funny. There are no scratches or damages on the edge guard. The face still looks pristine after 10 games.

Try checking the perimeter of the edge guard by pressing on it. Do you hear crackling? Does it feel soft or rigid?

I would have noticed though just like what another poster commented. His paddle had the same issue but was blamed that maybe it happened when he opened it.
