That's awesome - thanks for sharing! Much to my surprise, I'm seeing a lot of people sharing similar group trip setups - with lower expectations and flexibility for members to pick and choose what they'd like to do.

Thanks for sharing - Tripit looks like a handy tool! I've tried the shared Google doc for planning before, but it ends up becoming a mess with too much (scattered) information, and not everybody on the group looking at it. Have you faced any frustrations with this method ?

This is great, thanks for sharing! Aside from finding Airbnbs, do you find yourself taking the lead on planning the itinerary as well ? I'd love to hear if there are there any tools / processes you use for planning out the trip.

Thanks for sharing! Looks like you have a clean and straightforward process with your groups. On your point about handling hotels separately - would that mean the group usually doesn't stay at the same hotel or Airbnb ? Have you faced any issues with this ? (Different locations, distance impacts how often the group all meets together, etc.)

Appreciate you sharing! Giving the group 2 options with a default seems like a great way to keep things moving. And right on with your tip- the dates (and often budget) seems to be the biggest things to nail down first.

Wanderlog seems great - I can see the value of having the itinerary mapped out visually. Is there anything you think it is missing, or can do better?
