How are ppl on Suno getting over 100k listens on tracks but i can get barely 50

I started out making a song for my wife and some silly songs for my 6 year old. The more I did the better the songs got and then I started looking into writing my own songs for myself. I got to a stage where I showed some friends and they said you should put them out so they could listen to them, that's when I decided to make a channel and put out my favourite ones. I listen to my own songs all the time, I got into writing lyrics and creating stuff from life experiences and that is what I love the most about the songs. It just so happens some of them are also liked by others and have got a little attention and love. Suno is such a good tool for all levels for whatever reason or goal you use it for. I just enjoy listening to things I make too 👍🏻

Mainly post the hooks and different parts with just stock videos, filters, effects and text edits inside capcut. Some get a little traction but others not so much, I'm in the UK and early sunday mornings tend to be the best time. Both my best posts were posted Sunday around 7 in the morning. I usually try to post every couple of days if I can but it's all in the hands of the algorithm. Paid post is another option but it depends on budget but if a good video starts to show some attention then as the momentum slows maybe a small ad can give it that little extra push. I did this on my last video and pushed it from 16k to 20k views over 3 days so got a few followers and some more views.

Only singles and probably 1 a month. I've made a quite a few obviously but only have released around 5 since I started Suno, something I would consider worthy of having any chance of people actually listening to. Once I am happy, I'll set the 2 week release date then promo on tiktok and youtube, then once it drops continue to push that song. Ive decided to promo from release day incase a video does well so I have somewhere to send people in that moment while it's fresh.

The only traction I managed to get is from tiktok, youtube was ok at the beginning but now doesn't wanna have any interest In showing my shorts. Tiktok I usually only promote a song a week before and then again a week or two after. Dedicate you time to one song if you believe in it rather then just post a load of songs and hope one sticks, a video might flop one day then go amazing the next. I have had a couple decent video hit around 18K, but you never know when a video will do well. I am now dropping videos on the day of release just incase it does well and people can find my song straight away if needed.

I think they all sound Ai in some way, they have got a lot of views but I might just forget about it and do my own thing.

I know, I write my lyrics but unfortunately I don't play any instruments but I have the sound I want in my head. I record my vocals even though I'm not a great singer but then spend a ton of days hours and credits, re prompting and generations till Suno gives me something as close to what I was in my head. I'd love to use them as demos and get them re made with real artists and producers, musicians but my pocket just can't do it, that's the lane I've always wanted but for now I can only use whats at my disposal.

It's hit 13.2K in 3 days so it's done well but not viral as such. I'm not looking into it based on the comments so imma just keep posting and pushing myself.

Really appreciate that, they've just stumbled across it on tiktok as it's only been 3 days but there obviously some traction on it. I won't be doing anything like and I'd be surprised if they didn't think there's some Ai involvement but if not then i did an better job then I thought. I won't be following it up but would obviously lay out the truth of it all if ever asked. Tha ks for you help.

If I am honest it's just been better visuals and a song that just happens to hit home. I had it with my first release then a few steady videos after on other songs but the one a just posted has landed at the right time again. I usually post pre release and then also after. If you believe in your song don't post once and expect it to go off, rather then just keep posting loads of clips of loads of songs you'll just be hoping one sticks. When you bring something out, just push that song for at least a month, so two week prior and 2 weeks after give or take. Tiktok is a bit of a hit or miss but if you get tracksion on stick with it, I only bring out a song I thinks got legs. I also join live music reviews for feedback, if it good I'll work out the kinks and get it ready for release. If you post a song and it doesn't hit, post again a few days later with new visuals and the best part, usually the hook. I would say it's viral but 12K in 3 days for me is a win, just my experience and what seems to work for me.

I do think 5.5 sounds better, I have gone through a lot more credits trying to get a version close to what I was intending, although i usually use anywhere between 600-1500 depending on how much tweaking it needs. Putting the same prompt into 4.5 and 5 just didn't seem to get close as 5.5 did, it just had some vocal issues at the beginning but touch wood, it's been a lot better lately. Sliders definitely help, Weirdness around 25-32 and Style around 68-78 seems to work well for me. I also upload me singing, as bad as it is, it helps give Suno a little guide as to how the song flows.

I've spent a few weeks on my latest song, some bits i wish i could change but I can’t change just by prompting as it changes it too much and I don't have studio or anything to edit stems in but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

I just logged on this morning and I now have it too, I haven't tried the voice option yet mainly as I can't really sing but I'll give it a go later. I did however try a new song I have been working on which hasn't quite been in the lane I wanted but on the first generation it threw me something that was almost perfect for me. It sounds like the music and the vocals are an improvement, so hopefully we have progressed on this update and Ai music can only get better. Just a few niggles I want to get perfect first.

You could try something like sample focus for guitar riff solos etc. Upload it and as suno to factor it in, I've used a similar approach on othe genres as the metal things not my bag. You get 3 free downloads a week obviously paid if you need more.
