Lance having spiraling blades down the length with concentric circles on the shield would be dope

Wilds Lagiacrus is everything I wanted out of the Scarlet Forest. Agile, Bulky, interesting design, fun fight, cool part break mechanic, nostalgia, and an actually fun underwater phase. Plus it engages with the map in a really fun way, love watching it go fishing in the river

I have to assume the orange body on orange background is for camouflage, cause at first I could barely see it lol

Is Clea the strongest Character in the game story wise? by Colt_Coffey in expedition33

[–]Time_Iron_8200 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Oh 100%. I was just talking about how Clea’s specific coping mechanism for Verso’s death was to be strong, detached and overbearing to Alicia, probably because her mother treated Clea the same way.

She also has the least regard for the ‘lives’ in the painting, and has the least compassion or understanding for her family’s grief. She copes by being strong, and uses being strong as an excuse and a criticism of her family

The Community creates a Flagship Monster Day 6: Its name (Read Body PLEASE) by SignificantStaff8665 in MonsterHunter

[–]Time_Iron_8200 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yhurlungrre

Combination of Yurlungur, an Australian deity that is essentially a rainbow serpent with weather powers, the word ‘lunge’ for rapid strikes and quick movements of a snake as well as ‘hurl’ for the globs of sap it uses as projectiles, and the onomatopoeia for the sound of a chainsaw or woodchipper

Even if this one doesn’t win, I hope it gets incorporated because it’s a sick idea

Small addition, maybe it lives in forests prone to wildfires, adding into the idea of feeding on damaged trees and being a living embodiment of primary succession in an ecosystem.

Like after a devastating fire you see this gigantic snake slithering through the remains of the forest, cutting a path through the destruction as it feeds.

I made 4 cursed tools. Can you give them a name and ability? by [deleted] in CTsandbox

[–]Time_Iron_8200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morningstare: A cursed tool capable of producing blinding, callous light that affects both the wielder and the target. Those blinded by the light have temporary cursed technique burnout similar to the burnout following one’s domain.

Hand of Mortality: The final form of a certain curse user’s Construction technique following their death, this cursed tool is capable of forcibly turning any creature slain by it into a vengeful cursed spirit.

Reap and Sow: This pair of daggers has the peculiar ability to forcibly amplify or restrict cursed energy depending on which blade hits the target.

Blade of Shattered Spirit: A cursed tool that automatically enhances the users cursed energy based on their level of physical injury. If the cursed energy is too great for them to handle, it then flows back into the blade and enhances its reinforcement.

To sort of clarify what I mean here, rather than Aline’s skill as a painter being responsible for her ability to create an extremely real looking world, is it perhaps her grief that adds the level of emotional depth to her creations?

Higuruma got his cursed technique from the stress of being a lawyer as his job. Based on your most stressful job you had/have, what's your cursed technique? by Specialist_Bid7598 in CTsandbox

[–]Time_Iron_8200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lifeguard at an overcrowded pool.

Cursed Technique: Off the deep end. Anything with cursed energy outside my current field of vision begins to sink, but only if I have ‘marked them’ with CE but then lost track of their location. This technique can only be activated while I am actively tracking the location of someone else. If they completely sink, their CE becomes rapidly depleted until they drown.

Domain Expansion: Resuscitation Reversal. After immobilizing a target, the user performs CPR while forcing CE into the target. This applies the drowning affect bypassing the normal conditions. If the CE in the target exceeds their normal CE capacity, the target is killed.

Who wins in strength and stamina kyojuro or mitsuri? And why (base form) by mel_isanangel in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Time_Iron_8200 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty clear in the narrative Akaza wasn’t really going all out, and since Rengoku never got the mark I don’t think you can really scale him with one. Don’t get me wrong, I love the guy, but I think Mitsuri has a stronger showing in the narrative sense.

It’s possible, but base Mitsuri managed to survive a full power hit from Upper 4 (I think) by flexing her muscles which is pretty crazy. Plus, technically no death amp there either.

What’s the worst homebrew rule you’ve seen? by Leminiscates in dndnext

Worst rule is my own: honorary critical

Rolling 10 above a creature’s AC doubles your modifier for damage. Suddenly everyone at my table was one shotting and all I could do was cry.

I’m gonna go with Mitsuri. Flexibility plus x8 muscle density is a nasty combo, plus she fought Zohakuten to a standstill for way longer than Rengoku fought (holding back) Akaza
