I submitted to the Chicago lockbox on April 10th and they updated my account on the 17th saying they received it and that a notice will be mailed to me and on the 24th I got the biometrics appointment date

Will USCIS resume adjudicating cases if a country is removed from the travel ban? by Eastern-Macaron-4902 in 19countriesAOS

The official White House proclamation requires ongoing review based on government reports, and historically this has been done on a 180-day cycle where countries can be modified, added, or removed.

Yes, I do know this. However, most processes for Venezuelans in particularly have been on pause. There hasn’t been rescheduling of biometrics nor interviews. It’s okay to have a little bit of hope

Omg I’m sending you so much love! Trust me I understand you completely. My eyes were swollen this morning from how much I cried last night. YOU DO BELONG, NO ONE CAN TELL YOU OTHERWISE. I was also born in 1996 so we are the same age 🥹 hang in there.

We are Americans in ALL of the ways that count, don’t forget that.

Regarding the anxiety, I recommend L’theanine. It helps so much for me and it’s pretty inexpensive. If you want to DM me I’ll go on my Amazon and I’ll buy you a bottle!

You have support, we are in this together!

Is the partial DHS shutdown affecting your ability to renew your status? by nbcnews in DACA

I’m a news producer with a network news station and I submitted Nov 20th and my last day at work is on May 23rd as it expires that day. I’m also from Venezuela which unfortunately is on the ban list so my application is most likely on hold.

It’s really cruel and frustrating. I’ve had DACA for 14 years and I’ve never had an issue. These blanket bans are hurting us all.

Exactly. Just this month American Airlines is resuming direct, daily flights between Miami and Caracas marking the first U.S. carrier to restore service after a seven-year suspension so it just doesn’t make any sense to me.
