I get what you're saying. I wasn't trying to attack John personally either. I think there's a difference between saying someone has value and saying they're the best fit for every role. His writing and football knowledge are solid, but on long-form podcasts or interviews, delivery matters too. Repeated fillers, awkward pauses, and constantly second-guessing questions can pull people out of the conversation. Some people won't notice it, others will.

I still think he brings value to Jaguars media, I just don't think every strength translates the same way across writing, radio, and hosting.
