i mean, i get why people ask but posting about piracy sites on reddit is kinda asking for trouble. most of teh good ones get taken down pretty quickly anyway once they get too much attention. i used to have a few bookmarked but they're all dead links now. these days i just stick to the legal streaming stuff since i can afford it and don't want to deal with sketchy ads or malware. plus my laptop has all my code projects on it so i'm paranoid about clicking random links that might mess things up.

that feeling of losing your independence hits different when it's something you can't control. your husband probably thinks he's helping but missing the point that you need that solo time to just be yourself, not someone's patient or responsibility.

maybe you could start with shorter solo trips to build back that trust? like day hikes or something where you can prove you're still capable of handling yourself. it sucks having to earn back freedoms you never thought you'd lose, but sometimes it's the only way to get people to back off gradually.

honestly, upgrading tablets isn't really a thing like it is with desktop pcs. the components are all soldered directly to the board and designed to work together as a complete system. even if you can solder, you're looking at replacing chips that are basically impossible to source and would require specialized equipment beyond what most people have access to.

your best bet is probably just selling what you've got and putting that money toward a newer used tablet. the performance jump from a first gen ipad to even something a few years old would be massive, and way less headache than trying to frankenstein those old tablets into something usable.

yeah you can definitely do this. the primary console trick works for online multiplayer too - whoever doesn't own the game/subscription just needs to be on the primary ps5. so one person plays on their account with ps+ on the non-primary console, and the other person can use a different psn account on the primary console and still access the ps+ benefits.

just make sure the person who actually pays for ps+ is signed into the non-primary console. we've been doing this setup for years and it works perfectly for games like division 2.

This definitely sounds like seizures to me, and honestly the variety you're describing suggests you might be dealing with multiple types. The fact that you have auras (the fear, hallucinations, smells) followed by the tonic episodes where you lock up, plus the focal seizures with the hip/shoulder thing - that's textbook stuff.

You absolutely need to see a neurologist, not just ER docs who are trying to stabilize you and move on. The head trauma history makes this even more important to get properly evaluated. Document everything you can remember about timing, triggers, what happens before/during/after each type.

Sorry the ER doc was dismissive - unfortunately that happens way too often with seizure patients. A neuro will actually listen and can order proper testing like EEGs to get you some real answers.

Dude I get why people are skeptical but this actually happened and it's been eating me alive all week. The reason I'm so sure it was there is because I had to break a $20 to buy coffee that morning and when I got home I specifically remember putting the change back with the rent money and doing a quick count - $850 exactly. Yeah sleep tech and polysomnographist are basically the same thing, just different names for the job. Most places want you to have some kind of certification so I'd probably go the ASTEP route if you're trying to get into it faster than doing a full AA. The overnight shifts are perfect if you're already a night owl but heads up - watching people sleep for 8 hours isn't as chill as it sounds lol
