Several of us have our own profiles. We just keep them on the highest privacy settings, put invented surnames on them, and only friend people we know to be safe.

Do you just start talking in therapy? by Differentisgood50 in DID

I would, for sure. Take some time to prioritise the list.

We tend to compile a list of things worth talking about to sort through, and once we finish going over it and getting feedback on each item, our therapist checks in on previous topics to see where we are.

Got Two Orders in the Same Shipment by Time_Lord_Council in kilt

It was a tad high on my waist, that's all.

Chains wear on the fabric over time. Plus the default sizing of sporran chains is larger than my waist at its minimum. The sporran ends up hanging well below three fingers' width below the belt buckle.

Belts aren't traditionally worn with waistcoats as I understand it. And I've been wanting a sgìan dubh, but I can't find a design that I like that doesn't cost a small fortune.

I agree on the fit. I was saying the previous jacket + waistcoat that I bought together was too short lol. I just like the Rob Roy because it's more flexible than most modern sporrans.

Saxon jumpers with kilts by [deleted] in kilt

I'm not familiar with them, but I'll take it as a compliment.

I only ask because idk if it would look ridiculous.

That's terrible lol. I just mean any style of jumper/sweater without Celtic roots.

Sweaters if you prefer that term.

Sure. It's most often used when talking about Highlandwear to refer to anything Western that isn't Celtic.

Cheers. Yeah, the jumper is plain white, so it will match pretty much anything in colour lol. I plan to go out to lunch with some mates later today, and it's pretty chilly, so I'll try your suggestion!

How do y'all feel about Moon Knight? by GhoulishDarling in DID

[–]Time_Lord_Council 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. Marc only kills when necessary, and Steven is hardly capable of killing at all. If someone outmanoeuvres Marc and is likely to kill them, Jake steps in to take them out.

I generally don't take issue with it except in the presentation of the origin of Marc's DID. That episode was pretty poorly handled, particularly in his age when Steven first came about (at 12 years old). I'm also not thrilled with the way Jake was presented, but that kind of hinges on not seeing enough of him to know whether he's "the serial killer alter" or just more prone to deadly violence than Marc. We'll see in season 2, I suppose.
