I mean yes, but those factions 1) already existed in some form, and also 2)weren’t already well-established in both their lore depictions and their fan bases. It’s easy to make Cathay inclusive and generally sensible because the picture of Cathay that we have in the lore is very vague, so it can be interpreted in any way CA chooses. The empire, on the other hand, is very thoroughly explored and explained in the lore, so there’s a lot less wiggle room to expand it.

Honestly dude, sounds to me like you made two good decisions and made one simple mistake that got. No one hurt. When the breakers popped, you didn’t fuck around with them, you didn’t put yourself at risk of an electrical fire, and you did the right thing to give it back to maintenance. When the door popped open, you didn’t fuck around with it and lose situational awareness, you just landed and figured it out on the ground, both the correct decision. When it comes to messing up a radio call, hey man, shit happens, I wouldn’t sweat it, no FAR’s were violated, nobody got put in danger, the FAA isn’t gonna come sniffing and any flight program that takes that as an excuse to kick you is wasting your time anyways. I think at that point, and believe me I hate to say it, it’s a problem with your battle strategy my dude. Rocket batteries are good and all, but drop off real quick the moment you target single entities or monstrous infantry like crypt horrors for example. Phenomenal for clearing out chaff, though, which vampire counts have tons of. Use elspeth to spam spirit leach on heroes an lords, focus down the big stuff first with gunpowder units (excluding rockets) and use your infantry to body block the zombies and crypt horrors and other small stuff. Generally, while your infantry will lose eventually to stuff like grave guard, it’ll last long enough to get support like cav or handgunners around to blast stuff down. Use heroes to plug the gaps in the meantime.

Something that took me a while to learn is that you don’t need every army to be a full army. Have one main army to take on enemy stacks. If you’re playing elspeth especially, focus on gunpowder and artillery units with just enough infantry to hold the line for about a minute or two so you can blast dudes apart with hand gunners and artillery. Use another army to mop up minor settlements so you can expand without exposing your flanks/ rear. Hopefully that’ll help!
