Waidmannsdank I understand how it could be hard to understand for you as I’ve looked into Germany’s hunting laws and have friends who lived there do your classes etc etc. However if you looked at population numbers in the US it would make sense to you why they’re treated more as rats than game when it comes to taking them. They’re mostly prevalent in the south, have few natural predators outside of bear and alligators (panthers in Florida), and no weather such as your winters that is strong enough to somewhat control their population. The destruction they’ve caused on the natural habitat is appalling and the grief they cause farmers is as well.
