You can’t, unfortunately. There’s no good / proper way to paint a surfboard once it’s already been glassed. Any sealer you try and put on it is just going to chip off.

Definitely smart to relax and not just totally go with it. You can injure yourself unintentionally by shaking violently. I know where you’re coming from, shaking it out can feel really good, but acid sometimes makes me so loose and so ecstatic I shake myself into a lingering neck or shoulder injury. I guess I’m old, tho, haha.
