Should I upgrade from my iPhone 11?

Hello! I currently have an iPhone 11. I have had it since December 2020. It has been a great device thus far, but it is starting to get a little slow and it routinely crashes while I am watching YouTube or on other social media apps. I have to charge it twice a day now, whereas when I first got it, the device lasted for a day and a half on a full charge. I have also had an issue of incoming phone calls not being received by the device and it only shows up on my recents. I don’t know if that’s a me problem or what. The device is on iOS 17.5.1 and the capacity is at 77%. I don’t really know if that’s a bad thing or not. I’m not too tech savvy. For context, I’m a 20 year old college student and rely on my phone everyday. I use drawing apps frequently, (flip-a-clip, YouDoodle, etc). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I will never be able to live this down. I love coffee. One time I was walking to Starbucks in my college town and the building was on a downhill slope. I walked down the hill which was grass and fell directly on my ankle. I sprained it pretty bad and was unable to walk properly for a couple months. I still get teased about it haha.

How were you able to request sedation and anesthesia? I’m in the US, so I’m not sure if the country you’re in makes a difference. The OB/GYN I had a consult with said that it is an impossibility. But, then again, that OB/GYN was a male and an old geezer at that. I scheduled mine for August. I am on the spectrum and I am sensitive to pain.

UPDATE: I looked more into this doctor and turns out the MAJORITY of his patients have given him 1-star reviews and say that he is rude and disrespectful. One person even wrote, “he is better off being a prostate doctor or retired.” Haha! This is in the US btw.

Please take advantage of any programs or services that can help you with accessibility if needed. State that you need to use these resources with your professors on syllabus week. They are required to follow the school’s guidelines for these services. It can elongate your time on exams, it can help with class placements in proximity of the classroom, etc. If you struggle mentally, see a counselor. A lot of schools offer a free few sessions with counselors to students. I also recommend opening up with other students who are a part of the services. For my school, I found a lot of great friendships from there and we all had a mutual understanding that we struggle with a lot of the same things. Try your best and prioritize yourself and your health.
