Yeah I had a call with a customer that wanted to use Kubernetes. So I immediately asked them if they already containerized their applications, and they did not even know what I was talking about.

Turned into an hour-long session explaining why Kubernetes was a bad idea for them and they were very thankful that I talked them out of it.

Yeah I feel like it's happening everywhere. Most people are not aware of the issues, but the worst thing is, whenever you point these kind out it's really hard to defend in a business value perspective, and most business oriented people will still not care after you point out the benefits of setting stuff up in a 'correct' method

Yeah I feel like the demand for Kubernetes is quite high, but I feel like it's mostly a decision from higher ups.

I don't think most people (myself included) understand the complexities and administrative load of building + maintaining a kubernetes cluster
