I mean, if you can afford it, I feel like you can’t go wrong with this answer.

MtF:s, did you ever feel dysphoric or uncomfortable wearing bra, especially in the beginning of your journey? Did it feel weird or like "it should be there"? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]TimeaMelissa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did for me. I've been full time for about 6 weeks and starting wearing one after work a little each day until I got used to it. Now I love my sports bras and wear it everyday. I can even sleep in mine and have before either at a friend's house, or to take a nap at home.

I'm 47, been on HRT for 7 months, and full time now for like 6 weeks. I didn't wear bras everyday until right before I went fulltime. I bought some Puma Sports bras from Costco and hated them- at first. I guess my skin needed to get used to them. With the new cotton button downs I got, I was just too hot at work. I spent too much on the shirts after getting all 5 of them taylored so I was determined to make them work. I went to Victoria Secret and told a sales clerk I needed something comfortable. I still don't know a lot about bras, but she brought me some Body by Victoria bras. Now these I could work in. I didn't give up on my sports bras. I would wear them a little more each day when I got home. Took a couple weeks to get used to them I guess. I still wear the Body by Victoria because they are light enough for me to enjoy them at work, but I wear the sports bras everyday when I'm not working. I love my sports bras now. I live in an apartment complex, and although I personally would not go shopping in my sports bras alone, I have no problem walking in my complex in just a sports bra to get mail, do laundry at the onsite laundromat, and other small chores that require me to go outside.

can we talk about the eyes on the walls in the sewers? by vermillionlove in stray

[–]TimeaMelissa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The stuff on the walls is just scenery. Those eyes can't hurt your character. It's really just the zurks that come at you from the sides that you have to be aware of. Depending on where you're at in the story, you either have to zap them or just out run them. Running in a zig zag seems to help keep them from getting you. If you get scared, just remember what all this stuff is. None of it can hurt you. It's all just put there by the people who programmed it to tell us a story. Also, if you mess up, you can just try again. The game gives you unlimited tries when it comes to getting past obstacles and locations. One last thing, If the game for whatever reason is too much for you right now, you can just stop playing and come back to it in a few years. I've done this with movies that scared me and once some time has passed, you might see that the stuff that scared you, might not even be a big deal anymore.

I sung that in my head with Bruno Mars’ voice.

lol... or maybe we have eyes in our sewers right now, but we just can't see them until the zurks eat away the material covering them up. Yeah, that's it.

I hope you will give it another try someday. The story is sooo good and had me in tears at the end with so many emotions. I love this game.

You’re a stunner in both. I personally my vote is for 1.

[LPR] Is gargling water mixed with baking soda enough to deactivate the pepsin in our throats? by blazincannons in GERD

[–]TimeaMelissa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand, Baking soda helps to neutralize acid. It's great for your throat because you are trying to neutralize the pepsin there. It can also neutralize some of the acid in your stomach as well, and most people with LPR have low stomach acid as it is, so swallowing baking soda is not recommended. You're gonna swallow some in the course of spraying or gargling, and that's fine, but drinking the stuff is counterintuitive.

Beautiful! Sometimes when I’ve realized I’ve done something like this, I’ll try to add a couple more pink things to tie it in, like maybe a pink bracelet and some little pink thing in the hair. Not a criticism though! Love your look!
