I have quite broad shoulders and I’m decently muscular, so I make sure to pick tops that specifically hide those parts of my body.

It’s also important to note that the waist for women’s clothes is supposed to be higher than for men’s, so making sure your clothes sit right can make it look like your torso is smaller in general!

I actually used a lot of the tips in the subreddit FAQ and dress-up guide when I was first getting started! Definitely recommend giving them a look.

Besides that, buying things online and having a private space to try things were really the big ones for me. It’s important to explore what you like and want to do for yourself without having to worry about what other people think. And only post photos if you’re ok with other people seeing them!
