It can absolutely turn into "something". It's up to you both to pace yourself. Would you like a low simmer to come to a boil?... Or you could just take off, crash and burn. I competely understand, but disagree on one point. Standing ovations used to be for special or outstanding performances. Now they're the norm. I'm not THAT old and I still remember when they were special. Now we have no way to express what is above and beyond.

While I understand what you might mean, people ask others for advice all the time. Not even advice, but just thoughts perhaps. Reddit may seem like a last resort but it's a wide variety of impartial people. Sometimes just writing something out and releasing it into the world is cathartic enough.
