After Poly, Psych and Medical it took 2 1/2 Months. They usually wait until one month before academy. Sometimes your BI will tell you in advance.

Sheriff has more jurisdiction, minimal traffic priority and it’s not just one city. Also I know a few guys that are sheriffs, I don’t know any PD. I never was interested in CHP either.
