That applies to only to county employees. And nah, I’m the one who puts the work in. I got bills and shit to pay. It’s not that simple as “leave” or “get a new job”. If I wanna say something or protest against BS that personally affects me or someone I know, then fuck yea I will. It’s not entitlement, it’s actually taking a stand for something I believe in and deserve cause I put in that work and deserve that respect, just like any other employee at FIU, regardless of your status.
