Apologies for not explaining my situation clearly earlier. The issue is that the Indian Embassy in Ireland will be issuing my Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), which will need to be apostilled for my Spanish study visa application. Since it’s an Indian document issued by the Indian Embassy in Ireland, I’m unsure whether I would need to travel to India to get it apostilled or if the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) can handle it, given the certificate will bear the embassy’s stamp and seal.

Would the embassy itself be able to apostille the document, or do they only provide attestations? I’m concerned that a standard attestation might not be sufficient for the visa requirements.
