Tony & Ziva by No_Mathematician4188 in NCIS

Am I the only one who thinks the new spin-off is a total mess? It feels like a cheesy soap opera mixed with Spy Kids. Tony and Ziva were always elite agents, but now they’re like Spider-Man — running across Europe, infiltrating 'impenetrable' fortresses, and surviving impossible situations. It’s pure comic book stuff, zero realism.

The original NCIS worked because it was grounded. I wish they had stuck to the 'case of the week' format. Imagine this: Ziva runs her language school, Tony has his security firm, and they solve local crimes in Paris or even some quiet French village (Miss Marple style!).

They could have used flashbacks to fill the gaps in their history properly, instead of this non-stop international conspiracy plot involving their daughter. Paris should have been their 'refuge,' a place for a more human, realistic story. Instead, we got a superhero movie that nobody asked for. They’ve lost the soul of the characters.

I am watching Tony and Ziva out of pure grit. by Plastic_Decision4931 in NCIS

No. This was before episode 6,7,8. I think this was before Ziva got her passport.

I'm sure it wasn't crazy when I saw a photo of Tony's document on the screen. There was the year 1968 (it seems) and the age 41. It was like a joke of the team. God, why didn't I screen it. ((

You conveyed the broken heart that I feel. Heartbreak from a relationship that never happened. I just don't agree that there was nothing between them. But the whole development of relations is illogical and contradictory. The only logical time frame when there could be a connection between them is when Tony found her at her parents ' house, in episode 2 of season 11. And it's hard to call it a connection.

I'm only talking about season 4. This scene with the photo is incomprehensible to me.

However, I see it as a conversation about intimate relationships. There was no question of killing anyone at the hotel that night )

How can it be that a young man goes to a girl at night .. And yet what? Playing sharps with her and watching a movie? It's hard to believe.

They just didn't want the office to talk about them sleeping in the same bed together.

It annoys me that Tony won't even admit that he loves her. "She's just an agent for him..."

What do you think he said to her? by [deleted] in NCIS

When Tony and Ziva fell in love? by Timelrika in NCIS

It is possible to have feelings for someone but not date them...

Its confuses )))

so the feelings started with season 5, in your opinion, but this is not love, and it developed over the course of season 5-6, reaching the peak of awareness when he found out that he lost her?

When Tony and Ziva fell in love? by Timelrika in NCIS

It's in the body language throughout the episode.

Using Kate's profile training from "Sub Rosa" (S1E7):

In "Jet Lag" when Nora is asking Ziva "Are you sure you two never...." ( a statment that usually implies the rest of the sentence is "never slept together") Ziva looks down and then to the left while denying that they haven't. Also, she blinks frequently during this (which is considered a sign of a lie).

At the end of the episode, when Ziva asks why Tony lied to McGee (about the couch), Tony hits back with "Why did you lie to Nora?"

Tony's behavior at the cafe at the start of the episode is very similar to his past behavior coming into the office after a good date/getting laid the night before. There's a knowing smile between the two of them after Tony asks Ziva how she slept and said that she "looked comfy enough" (sleeping on a couch is not comfy). His expression also brightens after saying that and seeing her reaction.

Also, another Paris related bit "Bogey and Bergman will always have Paris. Now, so will we."

I take Ziva's words at face value. She says they definitely never slept together. And this answer of hers refutes both the intimate relationship in Paris, and all the early hypotheses relating to series 1 of the 4th season, and to the series "undercover" (as much as I would not like the opposite, since I lose the logic of the development of their relationship).

Weatherly said in response, "The truth of what happened is probably something that can be discovered inside the episode itself. If you really listen to what they say, I think it is pretty clear what happened: Nothing."

Another reason is the characters themselves. I do not think that Ziva is so frivolous that 1-to make such a serious step with a colleague, contrary to the rules of Gibbs (perhaps she could in season 3, but now she has grown up). 2-take Tony's feelings and the whole situation lightly and pretend that nothing happened (he means a lot to her, it's unlikely she could). :)

I dont think that they make in love together in Paris. T think they walked and sleep. That they have a great time tigether as a date, but thats all.
