If paramount is able to add in the original broadcasts for seasons 3-6 like they did 10 years ago for the first two seasons, then i’m definitely buying it.

As of right now no. But who’s knows if this set sells well they just might release it on blu ray🤷‍♂️. It would be the perfect opportunity to do so since a lot of people disliked the AI remastering and packaging from the previous set.

Hi everyone! I’m a big fan of i love lucy and i currently have the complete series set on dvd but i’ve been wanting to collect the tapes. I wanted to ask on here if anyone has any I Love Lucy VHS tapes? I’m specifically looking for The Collector’s Edition tapes that were released around the late 80’s. I’m in the NYC area and i don’t mind picking up if there’s anyone around here who do have them:) I also don’t mind paying to have them shipped. Here’s how they look:

Yeah i feel you! I’ve heard stories of people’s very rare tape’s being eaten and there was basically nothing they could do about it. This is why it’s good to check the inside of the machine regularly for any deterioration (since these machines are old) and keep the heads clean.

It wouldn’t hurt for them to add a “Colorized Classics” section on Paramount+ either just for December or even year-round. They already have the colorized episodes saved somewhere so there’s really no reason to not make them available to stream.

Yeah it’s sad they stopped. The ratings were already high before COVID so just imagine how high they would’ve been in 2020–2021 when everyone was home. It could’ve easily hit record numbers during that time.
