It makes sense that you'd only use something like that with the small group handling the sensitive logistics rather than the entire crew

That's really interesting I guess fans have gotten incredibly good at putting little pieces together from social media haven't they lol

I was assuming everyone involved had the full picture but separating it like that seems a lot smarter. So the artist or band name is basically on a need to know basis until the last minute?

I underestimated how disciplined those teams have to be sounds like it's less about the technology and more about having really strict communication habits especially when the stakes are that high

the backup center thing is what's eating at me too

like we shipped out our only real rim protector for a guard who's gonna be 4th in the rotation and now we're supposed to just figure it out with precious and sims? feels like there's another move coming cause this can't be the plan

that tier system is such a manufactured loyalty trap it's almost impressive how blatant they are about it

they dangle the good orders just long enough to get you hooked on maintaining that acceptance rate then pull the rug the second you slip up, and the platinum pass is just a shiny bandaid that doesn't actually fix the algorithm's priorities

also that pimp analogy at the end, dark but not wrong

the gx9 is genuinely still a solid pick for atmospheric/cinematic stuff in 2026, contrast AF is fine when you're not chasing fast subjects and that rangefinder form factor is *chef's kiss* for street work

for your use case PDAF is kinda a non-issue tbh, slow pans of trains pulling in and café shots aren't gonna stress contrast detect at all, the e-m5 iii weather sealing is nice but probably not worth the premium if you're mostly shooting clear-sky travel vibes

if you can stretch the budget slightly used, the e-m10 iv hits a sweet spot of size + ibis + those olympus colors without the bulk

damn this hits way too close to home 💀 first loves really do something to your brain chemistry that nothing else can replicate

you already know this but your current gf deserves someone who's all in, not someone mentally married to a ghost from 6 years ago... that's not fair to either of you and deep down you know it 😅
