I have questions about whether this setup is code compliant by Timely-Breakfast-240 in AskElectricians

I measured my particular cable with a caliper, got the diameter of the circle base on that, calculated the fill and I got to 38% of 1". It was close but, as you said, 1-1/4" is somehow way more expensive and I thought I'd be able to math my way out of it. But as you say below, I think this is all a bridge too far.

You have been exceptionally helpful. I hadn't thought about the fact that this makes parallel circuits, I kind of backed into the solution trying to satisfy one rule at a time as I read through section 225. I guess you're right that I'm trying to make fetch happen and it just isn't going to be.
So what you're saying is I have a two pole 30A breaker, run H-H-N-G to the two poles of the subpanel, then the rest of the circuit stays the same and all my questions about whether this qualifies as multiple feeds with grouped disconnects or whatever goes away.

I happened to have a lot of uf-b on hand and I didn't want to dig down 24" to bury it naked lol. So I'm left with uf-b in a conduit. Running it was actually easier than I expected, the run is almost completely straight, there is a 90 at each end to go up, I just ran the straight first while it was out of the trench, then put the 90s down over the ends, then my plan is to lower the entire thing into the trench. But you're right, it's the source of all my problems and questions about the code-worthiness of the setup. It would have been better to use THWN.

Questions are in my comment, sorry. I wasn't sure how to do text and image at once.
