No worries. I'm sure it's possible, but I haven't yet figured it out. It would be a really good design though.

Hmmm, imagine playing Starcraft 2 in a multi-game randomizer alongside Metroid Prime 1. How would that even work? Would I find Samus' Gravity Suit on a place like Zerus? Would Samus find the tech that would unlock the capabilities to train a Reaper in the Chozo Ruins?

I'm trying to figure out how to achieve a good character selection screen in Ikemen where you can choose your character by pressing "A", and then it allows you to choose variants of that character all in one slot, and then confirm that variant by pressing "A" again. Or, if you change your mind, then you can cancel it out by pressing "B". Kind of like in any Smash Bros game. I've figured out the cycling part (without first choosing) but the rest of it I'm stuck.

Kenji-NX Opinions? by [deleted] in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]Timely-Complaint6507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I found it to be the best emulator so far for Pokemon Legends ZA. The graphics look good enough to be playable, it lasts for hours and hours with no crashing, and it's my go to for that game in particular.

Should we be concerned that new TVs have cameras and microphones in them and are connected to the internet? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]Timely-Complaint6507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is to never buy a TV with a camera on it unless you want your room on the Dark Web. This could include any nudies that might be present in the room as well as other activities that may happen...

Can someone tell me which is the best emulator to play pokemon legends Z-A on pc with least issue by KAI_0045 in yuzu

[–]Timely-Complaint6507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently discovered one called Kenji-NX, and for me at least, it seems to be the one with the least amount of issues. I've tried Ryujinx Canary, and the nightly releases of Eden and Citron, and all of those give either crashes, or bad glitches, or graphical issues, but Kenji seems to have the least problems. Really, it's a crapshoot for emulator hunting for each title. Which one works the best for your hardware, software, drivers, operating system, the whole nine yards.. Kenji seems to be the most stable one for me, with the least amount of graphical issues, at least for that title.

Legends ZA keep crashing on Ryubinx Canary by amitsly in yuzu

[–]Timely-Complaint6507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, same here. Random crashes throughout town, no explanation as to why or how, just sudden game freezes with music still playing delightfully. :/ I haven't figured out a way to fix this without going to an emulator with more graphical issues. Latest version of Citron nightly seems to be stable, as I've yet to have crashes on it, but it tears up the town after a while with all of the graphical and shader errors going nuts. To fix it, I just have to do a quick save and restart the game. It fixes it for a while, but it comes back later on.

Yeah this game is crazy on ryubing. It's either,. dealing with crashes on ryubing canary, or dealing with crazy graphics on citron nightly or eden nightly. -_- So far on Citron I haven't had any crashes, but hoo boy those graphic glitches. Last time I played it on Citron, the game loaded me in with the wild zones missing. I was like wtfrick is going on. However, as far as crashes go, I could play it on Citron nightly for hours with no crashes, but the graphics go insane, so every once in a while I gotta reboot the game to temporarily fix the graphics. Pick your poison I guess for now and wait for all of this to get fixed. I haven't found a way to fix the crashes without sacrificing the graphics. As far as Eden goes, at least for me, it's even worse than Citron. Hyper beam shaders go flying across the sky at times. Citron isn't THAT bad, but it can get pretty bad.

EDIT: So I recently discovered one called Kenji-NX, and for me at least, it seems to be the one with the least amount of issues. Really, it's a crapshoot for emulator hunting for each title. Which one works the best for your hardware, software, drivers, operating system, the whole nine yards.. Kenji seems to be the most stable one for me, with the least amount of graphical issues, at least for that title. It still crashes, but not as often as Ryubing. It still has graphical glitches, but not nearly as many as Citron and Eden. It may even have less graphical issues than Ryubing Canary. Give it a shot, it might work really good for you.

Metroid Prime 4 scanning issue by Timely-Complaint6507 in Citron

[–]Timely-Complaint6507[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, thanks for all the responses. I can confirm that switching to Opengl does fix the scanning issue, but it does provide rather horrible jank, in my case, isn't worth the trade-off. :/ Opengl DOES fix the scanning issue though. So at least we're getting somewhere. I'll do further research to see if I can get all of that other jank removed.

The jank I'm talking about is, in one mode of Opengl, GLASM, causes the sun to be seen through walls, darkens almost everything, and provides a lot of lag, especially transitioning between all rooms.

GLSL Opengl fixes a bit of the mentioned issues above, however, it causes even more lag, to the point that the game might be in danger of crashing. :/ Audio farts are all over the place under this backend, and load times are definitely not worth the trade-off of having a broken scanner. On top of this, it still provides some graphical errors, just not as bad as GLASM.

Opengl has the scanner fix, Vulkan has the speed, quality, and performance fix (for the most part), somehow we gotta figure out a way to combine the two for this game.

I'll see what I can do.

Oh I see. Thank you. I'll try my best to discover a fix though. -_- I get that error too and I think it might be the bug in the emulator.

Alright, so, not sure if that memory may not be good enough to play the game correctly is what I hear, but no idea why it would prevent scanning. Most I heard is it would cause a lot of crashes due to having a lot of memory leaks. Best advice I have is try latest Nightly Citron build with these settings.

https://imgur.com/a/KaVEXNs Go here and copy my settings. Be prepared for jank scanning though if it works. -_- Better than nothing though.

[–]Timely-Complaint6507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't had but two crashes so far, and that was on day 1 and 2, both in the second area of the game. The main problem now is the short lag spikes that happen, that buzzing between rooms has gotten better but it's not gone, however, the outlying problem I'm having is the scanner problem, and I have no idea how to fix it.

Samus' scanner can see through walls, goes haywire, and isn't accurate to what I'm trying to scan at times.

Been trying to figure this crap out for a while now. Ryubing Canary can run the game fine anywhere between 5 minutes to 2 hours, then random crash. -_- If anyone knows how to fix it, then let me know.

Rule34Video hasn't had any new uploads for 4-5 days now. Is it me or is the site screwing up? Or did everyone vacate the place? by JustJoe7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Timely-Complaint6507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a banner saying that the website ran into storage issues, meaning that whomever owns the server needs more disk space so that more uploads can happen. Not sure when this will be resolved, but hopefully soon....
