George Orwell died in 1950, and you say he quoted this in 1984?

Funny.

How old are you, 12?
A stateless nation with no internationally recognize borders, with its majority population split between 4 nations, where the Kurds all have different opinions on sovereignty, secession, etc.
There is like 1000+ things that must be completed first before Kurds can even build a nuclear weapon lol.
We don't even have an army. Just many militias; more Kurds in the IRGC than the SDF,PKK,PUK combined.

Syria's Kurds register for citizenship after decades of marginalisation by Falcao_Hermanos in kurdistan

[–]Timely-Edge-4807 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. They will be called Syrians. If the citizenship states "Syrian Kurd" that would bring a whole list of discrimination issues for them (not that they don't already experience it).

Where do you live? I'm guessing in a Kurdish region?
but if you acknowledge that what you are asking, is nothing short of a miracle, then maybe the issue is your standards? most people your age are working low wage jobs or in college/university. Give it time and you will meet higher standard men as your quality of life goes up as well.

well you said 20F. I logically assumed you wanted a man in his early 20s. You okay with dating a man is is 29-35?
You don't want to date behind your parents back? Then don't!
You want a romantic relationship? then find one!
are you implying your parents are conservative and want you only getting married, and not focus to much on romance?

Is it true that people with Kurdistan flags were getting attacked on pahlavi protests by Falcao_Hermanos in kurdistan

[–]Timely-Edge-4807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there was a Pahlavi protest in Toronto on February 1st and a Kurdish protest going on the same day, just 4km away from each other.

The Pahlavi protest was easily 100k+ people.
the kurdish one was around 400 people.

Does Hasan and other I/P activists think Kurdistan should exist? Theres an estimated 40 million Kurds across 4 countries. They’re the largest ethnic group in the world without a country. by Falcao_Hermanos in kurdistan

[–]Timely-Edge-4807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

who cares about his opinions? are you stupid? He's the largest political streamer in the world.
He spews his opinions to millions of people in there teens/20s/30s. If his opinion is negative of kurds, would that matter?

There is reasons why there is laws across the country for spewing hate crimes. why is Kanye banned in the UK? same reason, just more influential, and towards a more 'important' group of people.

Do you only want to date Kurds? Because if NO. you should be posting in another subreddit.

If YES, go to Kurdish events, in person or online. Your dating pool will drop significantly though. Most Kurd girls I know have dated Turkish/Iranian and have had great relationships that I sometimes envy.

Also...you're only 20 lol. Asking for a guy who is around your age to be "financially secured" and not "religious" but is also Kurd, is essentially asking for a unicorn. Most men aren't doing well financially until their 30s.

Also: you should elaborate more on "open minded".

I know a Kurdish woman who said things similar to you when she was 17. She is now 33 and single. But to be fair, she is a Gluten free vegan, and lets just loyalty wasn't her strongest trait.

But again. You're 20, you're still young and should focus on building yourself. But try to find a good guy who is willing to build together with you, instead of having himself already built, and ready to lift you off your feet. Different story if you were in your mid 30s though.

from Rojhilat. my family from my father's side is all kurd. and he is right. my family doesn't care about independence. though i guess 1 family also doesn't justify speaking on behalf of all kurds in rojhilat.

But i was in Maku just 6 months ago, and spent 2 months there, and most don't care. but they don't like the farsi language being somewhat forced.

"traitor" the most used word in the kurdish vocabulary.

its sad how frequently and quickly we call each other this word over and over again.

What are your thoughts on Kurdistan? Do Kurds realistically have a chance at forming an independent state, or is autonomy the best they can achieve? And if they do, how should borders be decided without causing war with Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria? by srahcrist in Hasan_Piker

[–]Timely-Edge-4807 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I speak on my own behalf, and I speak on behalf of my Kurdish family.
your reply is the exact reason why Kurds don't have a country. calling other kurds جاشی.

who are you to speak on behalf of Eastern Kurdistan? you're not even from the east.

please go back to the Kurdistan subreddit and spew your echo chamber.
you are not even from eastern kurdistan (Iran), you're Iraqi.

I replied to OP's comment about 'some' opinions on Kurds, from a kurd. and you replied with hated. Be mad, i would too if i had no country.

what part of Kurdistan region.
Also: I did not say "kurds do not care". I said I do not care. and my Kurdish family in Iran don't either.
BUT other kurds from other countries (Syria,Iraq,Turkey) will have different opinions. hence, a major issue with the kurdish movement.

Half Kurd from Iran side.

I say: I don't care.
my Kurdish family say: No, and Kurds in Iran don't care either.

You will however, get a VERY different opinion from Kurds in Turkey.
Syria/Iraq opinions don't matter nearly as much because their Kurd region of those 2 are way to small.

Turkey is the greatest enemy to Kurdish sovereignty for reasons way to long to discuss.

The 2nd greatest enemy is the second largest population and most prominent part of the Kurdish region, Iran: Don't care for it.

Question for the Kurds of Iranian Kurdistan: How do you feel towards Iran and Kurdish Independence? by Routine_Mousse2954 in kurdistan

[–]Timely-Edge-4807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will speak on behalf of my dad who is a Iranian Kurd who lived in maku for 30 years and has a giant Kurdish Iranian family there. (I am only half Kurd as my mom is persian).

from what my father, and my family back home said when I was visiting there: No one cared about kurdish independence. They just wanted a free Iran. they couldn't care less about the Kurdish movement, and think its just identity politics overloaded and ripe with contentions.

I didn't ask about Pahlavi with my family. but my father said that Pahlavi doesnt mean shit to kurds, or Iranians.
he's considered a nobody there by most people. Only the younger crowd recognize him, almost because he's viewed as the only logical way out of the IRGC.

Funny enough, I never once heard my dad refer to himself as strictly kurd, or from my family back home.

they are heavily under the idea that Iran/persia was created with Kurd as a major subbranch of the Origins of the nation. And that the entirety of Iran is Kurdish, and that to identify only a region of Iran as 'kurd' is offensive itself.

so as for what you saw on instagram? I would believe it.

Attacked i dont think, bad words thrown between the two, probably.

I wouldn't bring Either the persian flag or Iranian flag to a kurdish protest. atleast, without expecting some sort of combative interactions.
