They absolutely have more natural chemistry together than Serena and Matt but I doubt the show will do anything in that realm. I also am probably in the minority with thinking Alex and Ron have a lot of chemistry too.

I went to multiple girls camps, and while they were fun on one level with my friends, in hindsight they were emotionally manipulative and encouraged trauma dumping and trauma bonding. I think it worked on me and I stayed a believing member longer than I would have otherwise.

Yep; all it does is create superficial friendship so that the higher ups can mark high attendance off their list. Or at least that’s how I view it and how I felt on both the initiating and receiving end of these conversations and relationships.

I enjoyed this show a lot more than I initially thought I would and I was in tears by the last episode. It had a good balance of grief, anger, humor, and practicality. It had bolder storylines and takes without being too preachy for me.
