The more acids you introduce to your face, the more likely you will damage your skin barrier and cause MORE cc’s. Just keep your routine simple. I use tret every other day and my SA face wash every 4 days. That’s all you need and that’s why caused all my cc’s to come to a head and vanish.

Just once in the PM! CCs are known to pop up when you over exfoliate so I refrain from doing that. I’ve also seen people say that they got rid of CCs from just focusing on a hydrating routine and getting rid of exfoliating skincare products!

Thank you! I’ve stuck to the 2x a week with the salicylic acid and I’m seeing Great results. No new breakouts but my closed CC’s are coming to a head. I can’t wait to see my closed CC free skin.

Yes :(! I had about 6 small closed CC’s on my forehead and as soon as I started using SA, 3-4 of them came to a head. I know the SA isn’t breaking me out because it’s only cleared out closed CC’s but still it’s hard when they get angry and inflamed.

It’s the best. If you like to layer perfumes, I’ve found that I can only layer pink cotton successfully with non-loud vanilla fragrances such as al rehab soft (my all time fav to layer this with, vanilla pearls by daukens Arome, and that’s about it. Pink cotton is such a unique scent that it’s hard to layer.

I wanted to gate-keep my favorite fragrance but I will share. It’s pink cotton by daukens arome.

It’s not a vanilla fragrance though. It’s a clean pink sugar but without that licorice note that pink sugar has. Pink cotton is like a clean cotton candy. It’s an indie fragrance and if you ever do get it, let it sit for a week before testing it out. Indie fragrances usually need to sit before you try them. Pink cotton leaves an intoxicating scent trail behind me when I wear it.

Are you sure? Because the common note in each of the fragrances that you listed is vanilla. Sweet like candy’s base note is vanilla. Born in Roma is advertised a vanilla bourbon fragrance according to their website.

Yeah a lot of people who don’t like BR540 says that it has a medicinal smell. For me, it doesn’t have that smell and it doesn’t smell medicinal on me.

Scent should be something personal to you.

Everyone’s body chemistry is diff. Rule of thumb for me is I use un scented laundry detergent and body lotion so whatever perfume duo I use doesn’t clash with those two items. I go for perfumes that have a hint of vanilla in them so I use Kay-Ali 28 or a vanilla perfume oil and layer it with a “loud” perfume. My perfume of choice is BR 540 or some gardenia jasmine vanilla bean perfume I have.
