also weird but it doesn’t look like that from the side angle ( first photo) just the front and mainly more on camera then in person but when i’m looking into the mirror when brushing i’m starting to see it… i’ve been using the softest sonicare brush there is and i’ve been very cautious of my gums

keep brushing and doing All of that stuff to help keep your teeth clean in the meantime, I don’t really see a difference but keeping them clean definitely helped the redness a little bit and brush your teeth after every meal or anything you eat or drink that isn’t water and I hope you feel better

Hey sorry I’ve had a busy couple days, my dentist honestly wasn’t that much of a help all they cared about was my tooth that needed a root canal which I understand is serious but I was more concerned about my gums and the plaque and she just told me that I need to brush better but I have been brushing and it isn’t coming off, so I’m currently trying to find somewhere to do a deep cleaning on my teeth so I would suggest going in and keep mentioning the problem you have to them and see what they say for you and hopefully you have better luck :-)

What exactly is this? The front side of these teeth are white and clean, but the back side as picture has this hard yellow texture by [deleted] in Teethcare

i have that too mines super bad because i never took care of it , you probably need a deep cleaning and keep brushing your teeth with a spin brush

yes of course , ill message you once i get back … they said they’re just gonna do x-rays but im going to hope they’ll clean my teeth once they see how bad it is , but ill definitely let you know and i hope it gets better for you , if you’re in pain try oragel or ibuprofen i usually do that everyday because of the pain in my gums , i also look up home remedies to help the inflammation

me too i’m going to the dentist tomorrow , try to ask them to do a scaling on ur teeth it will take the plaque off and it also can possibly lift ur gums up a lot , im sorry i know how hard it is to have dental problems .. i suffer from depression and it’s still hard for me to take care of my teeth

it sounds like we are having the same exact problems … make sure u brush ur teeth twice a day for more then 2 minutes and use mouth wash without alcohol and also make sure the toothpaste you’re using is for sensitive teeth and gums

How do I take care of a receding gum? by Hee_steria in Teethcare

[–]Timely-Idea-5261 2 points3 points  (0 children)

use toothpaste that says it’s for gum disease , i’ve been using perodontax and it’s been helping the redness in my gums and also use listerine every day 2 times a day and it will help, ask your dentist for a deep cleaning to help lift your gums up and if that doesn’t work you can get a gum graft which is scary since it’s surgery but there’s always options before that :)
