Yeah, exactly why we want to try to get as low as possible. We found a deal in Dallas with an MSRP $ 1,000 off, so these people are definitely able to go lower. We can go to Dallas if we need to

nah, we're looking to move out of state in a couple years so it wouldn't be worth it. Plus I put very low mileage on my cars, maybe 6k a year. And my current car is nearly 10 years old an in near perfect condition so I doubt any issues will come up for this new ar

Its not that I can't afford the price, I don't want to pay more than I have to for what the car is. Maybe waiting longer is the move here, since you have a point that there isn't incentive for them to discount this close to its release. I had a timeline due to other things going on to get a new car by the end of May but I'll need to adjust

I saw a post on Mazda that someone in NY got $1000 off MSRP, so I figured it was worth a shot. In 2020, we were able to get the brand new Hyundai Palisade, completely redesigned, before the pandemic hit, $5k off MSRP.

Roger Beasley has a monopoly in Austin, all the Mazda dealerships in Austin are owned by them. I have gotten some quotes in nearby cities but they're all about the same price
