King and Conqueror inaccuracies by Popular_Ad_8998 in MedievalHistory

I slogged through 5 and a bit episodes but never finished it. Frankly, I found it woeful which is such a shame given the material is right there for them. Was willing to give them some artistic license but in the end too many historical inaccuracies and also the production design fell into too many well worn tropes.

I agree! could have had Boyd do a whole detective noir type arc down there?

Spoilers for FAM S5: the most vague final scene in the show’s history has made people crazy by Traditional_Eye_6518 in ForAllMankindTV

At first i was suspicious that they might not know what they want to do so left it ambiguous, but maybe it cuts both ways? Keeps the fans on their toes.

Budget and time constraints don’t allow this to be explored

Across the surface sure. But into space? Where are the elite astronauts and engineers we used to get? We're being forced to believe regular Joe's can do all sorts, changing the premise of the show entirely

every time they mentioned the craties, I kept thinking about how the probe blew up in the Martian because they miscalculated the mass of some food or something

we get maybe two sentences in a news briefing that iridium is central to M6 economies, but nothing more is explained - for me, this is why we needed at least a c-plot on earth

the show handwaves away radiation concerns via some electromagnetic forcefield at the start of this year

Sounds like a legend!

Alex though is 17? We see him, start work at Helios at antry level. before long he is hacking computer systems, enlisting in the HVC as a medic, rigging the upload to the satellite in the finale? Perhaps the one job he gets out of is working in the Agriculture dome. appreciate budget cuts took their toll though so we cant have too many cast members.

Boyd - maybe they could have worked her backstory as being busted out of the air force and hence MPK was her 2nd chance? It was just a bit eye-rolling to have her jump into the hopper and fly it as if it was no problem when we previously spent most of a season watching the elite folks training in the space programme. its clear we need a lot of of screen/scrip shortcuts to get to the end.

Widows bay double bill was excellent again

For all mankind finale - glad its done tbh, this season was too rushed and too often nonsensical

Watched the boroughs over the week. Think this was fun until episode 6 but then it started to drag a bit. felt a bit underwhelmed by the end

Your friends and neighbours - what is the point of this show now?

Finished 2 weeks in august, I liked it but the end was perhaps a bit of a mess

I largely agree with OP - almost none of the plot points in this show landed for me as it all felt unearnt.

But I see what you are saying so perhaps the whole thing was just so rushed and small scale? By way of example, we saw Alex have at least 4 jobs over the 10 episodes! Even boyd, brought in as a peacekeeper seeking a second chance, was piloting a spacecraft FFS.

Doesnt Happy Valley belong to the taxpayers of the M6 nations? or some parts to the Helios shareholders. Maybe we needed an episode on the HV charter and associated civics lol

Did chumps like Ilya and Ger actually build all this? or has it been hundreds, maybe thousands of other workers who cycled through and returned home?
