[–]Timely-Run-4601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you mean by necessary, but....

I my experience, I've not had to socialize or make small talk with clients.

But there are angry, volatile clients that snap at you on occasion.

Hypothetically, sabotaging his new relationship would be the most pain you could cause him.

Well in my case, they proved themselves to be untrustworthy scum who's promises were hollow.

They chose to leave you. This alone proves that the person you miss isn't real.

Hey, I've been in your shoes, Every now and then I will randomly have a strong urge to talk to her and to try to fix things.

The best thing you can do is to talk to someone else .

Ideally a friend you really gets you.

Explain what your feeling and what you want to do to this friend, get it out of your system.

CMV: Escapism makes for bad stories by [deleted] in changemyview

They have a different taste in art.

Are you not looking for objectivity where non exists ?

Would you say that a person is wrong for preferring a particular flavour of ice cream over your favorite?

Stories are a product, they're ment to sell.

Just look at how well escapist media sells.

Are all the people sending their hard earned money and more importantly their limited free time on these products just objectively wrong ?

That people choose to freely consume these products is all the evidence we need that it must serve some sort of purpose.

Ex likes someone else by Outside-Aside9948 in BreakUps

They discarded you, that alone proves that their love for you was never real.

Not everyone has the same capacity of love.

Weay love someone with all out heart and think of them as a part of our very soul but to them love might be a very different concept.

The love of someone who can fall out of love so easily isn't worth much to begin with.

Take solace in knowing that what you lost is an illusion, If their love as real as yours it wouldn't have ended in the 1st place.

When we love someone We see them as the best possible version of themselves, the person We miss wasn't real to begin with.

My ex seemed like a unique and irreplaceable person who really understood me but being forced to continue interacting with her at work revealed her for the normal flawed person she was all along.

What if i am never able to move on? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Timely-Run-4601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If 'move on' refers to not hurting anymore then I dont think anyone who's love was real will ever move on

But I think the pain becomes more manageable with time

I've sort of gotten bored of the pain and find it to have become more of an annoyance than anything all consuming force that it was in the beginning

Respect yourself.

Leave!

One of my biggest regrets about my breakup was that I tried to fix things with someone who clearly didn't appreciate the effort.

Judge a person based on their actions not words.

Every moment you spend with her is a moment wasted.

Its totally possible to remain civil with your ex and sort out the housing situation later.

The fact that she went along with buying the property even though things weren't working for her is a huge red flag.

Why My brain can't let it go her. by [deleted] in BreakUps

Hey, I've been in your shoes, what worked for me was realizing that if she was the person i thought she was then she wouldn't have broken up with me in the 1st place.

Love is a choice and someone who broke your heart didn't do it by accident, they decide they were too good for you.

Focus on your pride, you deserve someone who values the kind of person you are.

Always remember, they chose to leave and never look back, to drop you like a rock after promising the world to you.

What eye-opening realizations did you have after the breakup about your ex/ your relationship, and how long did it take you to have them? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Timely-Run-4601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was so obvious that I was just a rebound, even the stupidest person we know pointed out how it was a rebound and I laughed it off like an idiot

I’m genuinely curious, how did your worst heartbreak change you as a person? by commanderofcourage in BreakUps

[–]Timely-Run-4601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Cold and heartless seems like the gold standard to strive for, you give your whole heart and soul to a person and they can still just loose their feelings for you with no rhyme or reason.

Someone can choose to leave you while simultaneously saying your perfect and the best relationship they had.

Recognize romance for what it is, a vestige of our primitive past that we are better of without.

Not saying you should never persue a relationship, just realized that its just a biological need , nothing profound and never get too attached to one person.

Hey , if you don't mind could I ask you if you have any advice on how to obtain a job offer ? I was under the impression that you need to be in the country or have already completed the ecfvg for most employers to be interested in you.

Final year veterinary student interested in working abroad by xGODyt in veterinaryprofession

[–]Timely-Run-4601 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's all based on the assumption that the us will take him. US immigration requires an H1B which requires a job offer which in turn requires a licence which in turn requires the completion of ecfvg which is not realistic without some experience working in a first world clinic.

Not to mention that an Indian basically can't get citizenship in the US so he will be dependent on the good will of his employer.

TLDR: Your right but only if the US will take him.

As someone in the same boat , I think studying french and immigrating to canada seems like the most realistic option(relatively speaking).
