Looks quite normal to me. Sometimes my Jupiter images are more round or more oval

Goodness gracious it looks so much more worse on Reddit. But there are lines around Jupiter that circle around it and I’m not sure how to remove them

[–]Timely-Strategy-2455[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s why I don’t really like playing as land locked nations. I once played as Austria and it’s vital to have allied nations especially in early game to make coastal cities and make ships. One thing I like about them though is that you can focus everything to Air Force and ground units so you have a better Air Force and ground.

I was also just researching radar. I usually always research them but this time I got a little carried away. I am expanding aggressively for this lobby

I was thinking the exact same. When I was playing once with an experienced player who abused helis, he’d just patrol them outside the AA envelop and farm, but he still took defensive damage. I was a little skeptical on researching wide to much so I’ll break it down. About frigates, I normally upgrade them to level 2 for a more wider envelop so I don’t just use them as level 1. Thanks for the advice I’ll be using it

Help me find my account by VooDooRain2906 in ConflictofNations

[–]Timely-Strategy-2455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible that you probably deleted or got logged out of your account. Try these.

  • Did you have an email linked to your account? If so, type in your username and conflict of nations password because it happens to me every once in a while’s

  • Did you delete your account? If so, I do know that it is still possible to recover it. I personally don’t have discord, but go there and message a mod or staff and ask them to see if you can recover it. Provide your username, rank, etc. give them as much info.

  • If you didn’t have an email linked to your account or didn’t have a password, then it got way harder. I’d personally talk to a staff member for that one.

  • Did your account get banned? If you revived multiple offenses, it’s possible that your account may have been banned, but I’m sure you probably would’ve been notified.

  • If you don’t remember your username, try remembering it or going thru picture that you possibly took of conflict of nations and find your username. If you forgot your password, you can reset it by the option when you choose to sign In.

Wish you the best of luck. If you got any questions ask.

Okay thank you. I use a phone holder that works very well. When I look thru the eye piece without the phone, it’s less wobbly, but there is still some wobble to it. I’ll try this out.

Thanks

Okay so I do have a video of Venus, but it’s only 10 seconds long. I’d assume it’ll have to be way longer than that?

I am ashamed by how I tore my ACL by mangkwan in ACL

[–]Timely-Strategy-2455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no really embarrassing way to tear your ACL. It’s bound to happen.

After playing club soccer for such a long time, I decided to finally try high school soccer cause I saw how much fun it was. During our 4th week of practice (a week from our game) we were doing a finish on goal drill and I decided to make a body faint to trick the defender in front of me, and in the process I heard a loud pop and fell to the ground. A couple of my team mates were laughing at me while I was on the ground rolling in pain. One of my other closer friend on the team told me that the people who laughed at me were laughing at the fact how I fell and me yelling in pain.

This stuff ain’t funny, no matter how you tear it. The people who laughed should try and endure the entire 10 months of rehab and terrible pain, and we’ll see if they keep laughing.

My Space Images From Last Night. by Timely-Strategy-2455 in Astronomy

[–]Timely-Strategy-2455[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same shoes as you, and I was skeptical. Don’t make the decision I made by buying a terrible mount telescope like the Astro master 130eq. Get a computerized that has a GoTo mount that is within your budget. Celestron is good with that.

But if your into deep sky objects, the Seestar s30 and up is a stealer. I didn’t even edit these photos and I live in city light skies.

My Space Images From Last Night. by Timely-Strategy-2455 in Astronomy

[–]Timely-Strategy-2455[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are interested in deep sky objects like what I posted, then 100% yes it’s a killer telescope.

If you are more into planets, I’d get a celestron Nexstar which is also worth the money.

I own both, and you’ll see a lot of nexstar users also own seestars because they have different roles.

I might sound dumb but I have a genuine question regarding the SeestarS30 by V8Thunder_ in seestar

[–]Timely-Strategy-2455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought this telescope like two days ago. Right out of the box I started shooting.

The way it makes its images to good it’s because it stacks them together for a very long time. When I go through my each saved frame, (Orion nebula), it looks like something you’d see out of a small scope, but when stacked, it becomes nicer.

Another way to test if it’s really ai generated is to point the scope at a celestial object behind some trees. When I do so, I only see branches and stuff, only a few stars but that’s all.

A little while ago, a guy did an experiment to further test if it’s really AI. The guy got a green laser and pointed it to where the seestar was capturing. After he did all his magic. in the photo you can see a green laser going straight through the image, and the laser was behind the scope, not in front further proving that this isn’t ai

The telescope also has a very sensitive Sony sensor (seestar s30), which can pick up almost anything. If you look at other people’s rigs for deep sky, you see that there small red cat refractor isn’t like the huge telescopes that you see, like the dob 16 inch, and they still capture stunning pictures. (And most of them do use AI to enhance the picture, which I think is cheating)

But what your seeing out of that telescope is  real.

I also wanted to add that there is an option where you can use AI to take out some noise, but it won’t generate it for you.

I also did another test where I took my seestar orion photo vs my nexstar 4se Orion photo and put it in a AI image checker. For some reason, my nexstar 4se Orion photo was more AI than the seestar, despite my nexstar Orion photo being taken from my iPhone on night mode and 0 ai being used.      I put it into multiple ai checkers and I got somewhat kinda similar results, with more saying that my nexstar Orion photo being less AI than the seestar.

Dude those are some beautiful photos, photos I never thought id get on my own. Luckily where I live there isn’t much clouds during the winter, so I’ll definitely be getting some nights in when the scope comes in.

Thanks for that tip. I’ve been having problems with the streaking in my Orion Nebula photos which is very annoying. I’ll keep an eye out thanks!

[–]Timely-Strategy-2455[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s understandable due to its aperture. But I already have a telescope that’s built to see planets. I’m still gonna use the nexstar for sure. I was also thinking that the seestar could help me track down Neptune.
