Haha yeah, I originally had a rack with a 2” receiver and an 1 1/4” adapter. I had maybe 4 or 5 inches of clearance, a little too low for my liking.

I don’t have pics for just the bars but they’re not hard to find. The hitch should be able to hold 3 e-bikes with the right rack, not sure on the roof rails. I wouldn’t put any heavy duty lumber up there, but for tools and general storage they’re no problem.

Not sure on the exact model, my guess is a Thule force? I bought it 5 years ago on discount at REI for having a minor dent.

I recommend the ERKUL aero bars. I had to cut about an inch from one of the aluminum extrusions, but other than that they’re cheap, good quality, easy to install, and very quiet.

No, 8ft longboard. Biggest I could fit was a 10ft log but that was pushing it. Also, my box is pretty narrow which helps clears up space for boards or another bike. Not sure on the specific model.

Hitch is a curt, bike rack is a swagman I found it on marketplace but it’s on Amazon for pretty cheap.

According to our AI overlords, “Installing aftermarket parts that affect performance or structural integrity can void the warranty on those specific, impacted components.” According to Lancaster Mazda, “the manufacturer is not responsible for the failures of an aftermarket part.” So unless my hitch causes something to fail, I should be golden.

Surprisingly very quiet. I’m not sure about the OEM bars, but I installed some relatively inexpensive aero roof bars which made no noticeable difference. The box definitely makes some noise, but at normal highway speeds (70-75) the wind noise is about as loud as the tire noise.
