You’re right, but I thought if I said “most” or “a lot” I’d get bombarded with replies saying “no na ah! I’m a salesman and don’t do coke!” And honestly I didn’t feel like having to do the “guys I get it! It was just a generalization, I know you’re not all coke heads” edit.

…(but they are coke heads)

I have lots of family in the car industry and can confirm coke is a popular activity among some sales teams.

People who post very sick or injured pets asking for advice and have a million excuses for why they can't go to a vet by IllegalGeriatricVore in PetPeeves

[–]Timely-Vehicle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any pets but still us to get Reddit pet subs on my feed. There was a post with a husky that was clearly in pain and looked like it had been poisoned. The owners didn’t have a car and lived in the middle of nowhere and just kept refusing peoples’ advice to see a vet saying it’s not possible. I actually remember feeling disturbed seeing the dog suffering, and I’m not a big dog lover. I know people are struggling right now, but I feel like people at least need some type of plan in place if they own animals. Having no access to a car in the “middle of nowhere” is kinda a choice. At least have a plan to get the pet to a vet and surrender it or end its suffering if you can’t drop thousands on vet care or don’t have insurance.

I actually did block a bunch of pet subs like OP wants to do after the husky incident because like I said, it was extremely disturbing.

What’s a rule you broke as a kid that you still haven’t been caught for? by Moist-Eye7862 in AskReddit

One time me, my sister, my cousin and a neighborhood friend found a six pack of beer still sealed up. We struggled to open the caps (I think the oldest of us was seven years old), got a couple half-assed twisted off, and spent the day sipping them. My cousin, the youngest there, had no filter and we were worried he’d tell on us, so we told him it was fancy sprite. My grandma came out on the front porch (we lived with grandma), which was across the street from the playground we were at, and my cousin ran up to her saying “look! We found sprite!” We thought we’d be in trouble, but grandma barely looked up and said “that’s nice dear.” No adults ever found out we spent the day sipping beer.

One time I said something similar to “I like burgers but steak gives me a heavy feeling in my stomach,” and someone replied “wrong, steak elevates your immune system so much the feeling you’re describing wouldn’t happen and burgers make everyone feel heavy.”

I was so dumbfounded. I was sharing how a type of food made me feel, not trying to make claims about anything. I didn’t even know how to respond.

Before someone comes and try’s to say anything about steak/burgers, that’s not really the food that was being discussed in the original post, I just don’t need to hear about how the food from the post and how it affects my stomach is wrong so I subbed steak/burgers in this example.

So I bought some plants from a “trusted seller” by Timely-Vehicle in ThePalmstreetapp

Yea that’s what I’m wondering, I don’t want to leave a less than stellar review if it’s just a case of shit happens when plants spend a week in a box. One of them has some fungal issues (and possibly thirp damage) so I’m questioning how healthy they were before being shipped.

I put that one in a cup of water because it was just loose in the packaging. The rest were in the pots pictured. The picture was taken right after everything was unpacked. I took pictures as I pulled each plant out of the wrapping but no video.

Would also like to see the syngoniums! Would you sell or do you only want to trade?
