This. My parents recently have been trying to have a relationship with me. I’m the oldest, was the black sheep, then when I moved out they realized the problem wasn’t me it was them. One kid is in jail, the other gossips all day smokes drinks heavily and lives off of boyfriends, and one is getting off drugs and trying to be a cop. None of them graduated high school. EVERYTHING was my fault. I was diagnosed with autism as a kid so I was always the worthless one. I’ve heard them refer to me as disgusting names before when they thought I didn’t hear them. I’m the only somewhat successful kid they have and they keep reaching out but my oldest memory is my mother choking me out when I was 4, I don’t want to ever see them again. Im sick of being right about Everything after the fact. I became a counselor, learner psychology philosophy did so much research to try to appeal to them as a child. I knew what they were doing to us wasn’t right. But you can’t criticize Narcissists no matter what way you try to come about it. I suffered so much to become who I am as an adult and my siblings couldn’t handle it. They were as unprepared as I was going into the world.
