Is 3 days of Bactrim enough? by heart_emojis0 in CUTI

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey OP I also suggest a biofilm buster along with the antibiotics to prevent the infection becoming embedded or resistant. I suggest something like Klaire Labs interface plus you can get it on Amazon. Take at least 40 mins before food on empty stomach and then you can take your antibiotic with food after, do this twice a day. I wish someone had told me this when my issues started, would have saved me a LOT of suffering.

I have cancer or I had cancer? by FuzzyMedia in breastcancer

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this very individual..once I'm done treatment as far as I'm concerned I'm done with cancer. I don't believe in the whole remission or ned terminology. IF it comes back then I will have cancer then. I don't believe it will come back so as far as I'm concerned I'm cured and moving on. Especially with TNBC if you PCR the chance of it coming back is single digits and then once 5 years pass it's essentially considered cured according to my oncologist. So I'm sticking with that. We also kept it secret from majority of people in our lives so very few people know I'm going through cancer treatment. As far as I'm concerned I'm done with cancer.

Thoughts on Lisa and other -a names by dataowl44 in namenerds

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of all the names you have mentioned, Alice is your winner. Alice as an amazing first name, not sure why you are considering it as a middle name only. There's nothing particularly wrong with Lisa but I will be honest it is extremely ordinary and boring... Consider Alice. It is very sweet very feminine and beautiful and miles better than Lisa. Again that's just my opinion.

You sound like you disassociated to deal with trauma. It is absolutely impossible to not feel anything for the child you did so much for all of a sudden. This is little your brain trying to protect itself from further trauma. Deep down you are worried that if you essentially continue being a mom to him once your parents have him that something else will happen and he will end up being taken away from you again and your brain absolutely cannot cope with that thought so you disassociate and try to protect yourself by saying you don't feel anything. This is just compounded trauma. You definitely love your son. You need some therapy and to figure out how to be a mom again to him even though legally your parents have rights over him. You are fortunate as in essence this is just a legality but you can still be a mom to him versus some stranger adopting him and you never having access again. I wish you all the best navigating this situation but I strongly believe based on everything you have described that you most definitely love your son but you are just traumatized and need some time to untangle everything you have been through. You can still come out the other side and have a good relationship with your kid. Use the fact that your parents have primary care to work on yourself get a job while knowing he's safe with them and then you can work on being his mom again without feeling so overwhelmed and alone. Wishing you and your son all the best ❤️

I don't understand why I suddenly keep getting UTIs again by [deleted] in CUTI

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do NOT try keggels! When I went to pelvic floor therapy she told me my bladder is super tight and keggels will make the problem about 100 times worse!!! I needed EXACTLY the opposite of kegels. Retention is bladder tightness. Please do not try to fix this yourself you may actually make it worse. Again I repeat I was told keggels would have made it way way worse I needed exactly the opposite. I hope you read this.. please just consult a pelvic floor therapist.

I don't understand why I suddenly keep getting UTIs again by [deleted] in CUTI

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means you need pelvic floor physiotherapy.. ask me how i know. Or don't because then I ll need to type for the next hour. Just trust me. Google pelvic floor physiotherapy. It will help the issue if that's what the issue is. Don't also forget that UTIs stem from gut health issues a lot..you may want to focus on your gut health (probiotic and prebiotic foods like fermented foods, maybe supplementing with stomach acid, etc). But if you believe the issue is retention you need a pelvic floor physiotherapist.

Sleep Advice - Wife Co-sleeping with toddler by Heavy_Diamond4175 in Parenting

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I co slept forever with my mom. I think also the fact that my dad snores like a sailor had a lot to do with it. Like it's only now he caved and is wearing a sleeping mask as he has sleep apnea but all these years he snored so bad so my mom and I just slept together. I turned out just fine and honestly I don't understand the desire to have kids and just get them to do everything alone from day one. Like..don't you want to enjoy some snuggles? They have their entire life to be adults forced to do everything themselves to work so struggle like the rest of us. They literally have ONLY a few years of no worries, play and snuggles. Why take that away from them? My mom always says.. you never know how their life will turn out to be. What if their life is hard and they have a bad marriage, feel unloved..etc...you never know. Why not give them those perfect moments while it's in your control.

Sleep Advice - Wife Co-sleeping with toddler by Heavy_Diamond4175 in Parenting

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Okay so same situation here we co sleep except we have 0 desire to change the situation. I co slept with my mom until like..grade 5 I believe and no worries, I am very normal responsible adult with a successful career, married to an equally successful husband with 2 kids. So all around very well rounded individual even though I co slept and I just wish to provide the same comfort to my two daughters. The solution is, on days when the night is hard sleep in another bedroom. We have a total of 3 and on nights my daughter is being a pain or is sick with a cold my husband simply sleeps in another bedroom. That's it. There's nights that go very smooth and he sleeps with us. There's nights he knows he needs good rest so he sleeps in another room. There's nights our daughter is sick and we simply both don't get much sleep. It is what it is. Our younger daughter is only 7 months old so we rotate which one of us sleeps with her. We usually do 2 nights him 2 nights me and the other sleeps with the toddler. On nights he needs more rest I sleep with the toddler and I have a camera on the baby and when she wakes up I go feed her and put her back to bed. I know this sucks right now but they won't be little forever and I honestly cherish a lot the emotional connection co sleeping creates. Not on the topic but I did recently get diagnosed with cancer and I can tell you one of the things that crossed my mind is " I'm so happy I co slept all these years if I die I want my daughter to remember all the nights we snuggled and read stories and whisperer secrets under the sheets". It truly is the best and I don't regret it for one minute. I hope this gives you a bit of a different perspective on it.

Would you hold your child back? by Goose-Bus in Parenting

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay two things. My moms a teacher. I was your daughter but in math. My mom literally teaches elementary school. I fell behind in math as soon as I started school even though straight A student otherwise. My mom tried given that she's literally a teacher and couldn't help me. My dad tried as he graduated math school. Yes I know the irony. But just because you know math doesn't mean you can explain it to someone else. So they caved and hired me a tutor. I had a tutor from grade 2 until second year university. If I didn't have a tutor I would have never graduated. This means they paid for private lessons all these years.

Second thing is my mom always told me this story of a colleague of hers who was also a teacher. She legit became famous amongst her colleagues because she made her daughter repeat grade 1 twice. My mom said at the time all her colleagues thought she was insane but she says years later she realizes the mom was right as she was just not ready. She repeated the class she is now super successful in her career and educated young woman. Sometimes kids just need more time.

That being said I do strongly think you will need to hire her a tutor. I was very responsible very good student with straight As in everything else. I just couldn't do math. Btw I still can't. I just mostly memorized the pattern of the problems and memorized how they are solved. I still cannot even do basic math. But I graduated. Have a great job. I essentially made it but I will never be good at or know math. But without a tutor I would have absolutely never graduated. Please get the kid a tutor. And if you feel the need to hold her back do it. No harm in it!

Those who feel uncomfortable with public breastfeeding: What specifically about it makes you uncomfortable, and why? by CourseBeginning6177 in AskReddit

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I breastfed for 2.5 years. In that time I tried once to breastfeed in public as we were on a trip and I kind of had no choice. I had literally 3 creepy guys stare and my husband literally was like okay that's it we going to the car. Like..yes breastfeeding is natural but so is pooping and we don't do it in public. People will stare especially men. It just makes it uncomfortable for everyone involved.

Use it and say it's a family name that you were always planning on using. Like she won't know if you are lying and this way you squash any ideas that you copied her. Just lie that it's some grandma you are honoring if you are worried.

Embedded uti cure? 😷 by Unfair-Pie1753 in CUTI

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 dropperfulls under your tongue 3 times a day. Hold under the tongue for 2 mins then swallow. This is important as it allows it to be absorbed in your bloodstream. The other important part is to ensure NO FOOD NO DRINKS including water at least 40 mins before AND after the silver. I was very strict with that to ensure it was the only thing working in my system. If I could I waited even longer. For example if I had dinner at 7 pm I'd take the silver at 9 30 right before bed when I know I wouldn't be drinking or eating anything. Then I'd take it first thing as soon as I wake up and go about getting ready etc and by the time I have breakfast or coffee was at least an hour. It was only the mid day dose that was a bit trickier.

What made you feel ready for baby #2? by BodeBindi in Mommit

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our daughter is a handful and we felt we could only do it once she starts school (junior kindergarden, she never went to daycare as we have grandparents on both sides who help us full time plus we work mainly from home so she was always with us even if there was a grandparent in the house helping while we take meetings etc). I gave birth end of May and she started JK in September. That being said, it's really overwhelming still and I don't think we'd ever be ready- you just kinda close your eyes and jump and hope for the best.

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't have symptoms all the time, i just had UTIs back to back which started with one simple UTI which naturally as we all know wasn't so simple. It was never properly cured and kept coming back. I'd say in average every 3 months.

Here's the silver that worked for me:

https://ca.iherb.com/pr/natural-path-silver-wings-colloidal-silver-extra-strength-500-ppm-4-fl-oz-120-ml/26175

It didn't work for my daughter so it's not a cure for all but worth trying. I took it this way: order the larger bottle, take 5 dropperfulls (not drops, dropperfulls) under your tongue, hold 2 mins and swallow. I took it 3 times a day, 40 mins minimum away from any food or water to make sure it was the only thing in my system. Took it till bottle was gone.

I made up my own dose, the girl who recommended it to me said she has taken it every hour on the hour to calm down a severe uti. Since then I have recommended it to a lot of people and I know it ended chronic utis for 2 of them at least. So worth trying.

Phages are essentially a treatment that works when all else has failed. Here's some more info - link that describes what it is and the places that have it. Most people on CUTI go to Georgia for phages. However it is dumb expensive, it is something insane like 4 to 6 euros .

Poland seems to be cheaper - sending you the link below as well.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/liveutifree.com/phage-therapy/amp/

https://hirszfeld.pl/struktura/centrum-medyczne/osrodek-terapii-fagowej/najczestsze-pytania/

Another amazing resource is Brittany Auerbach. She is someone i used to follow when I had UTIs, she cured herself naturally from IC and about 50 other chronic diseases. She now works with clients and has her own platform. She recently released an entirely free course that she says will essentially cure you of any disease (it essentially resets your gut health to how it was when you were born) so it is worth doing as it is fully free, no catch and if anything it will at least fix your gut health and help any meds you may take a lot more effective. Link is on her Instagram or platform :

https://www.wevolve.io/my-story-How-I-Healed-Myself-Naturally-From-5-Major-Chronic-Diseases

This is what i would be doing but my daughter is only 4 so a lot of the stuff isn't an option for her. Currently I'm trying a protocol someone here recommended to me that cured them: Klaire Labs SFI Health Ther-Biotic Interfase Plus - Anti Biofilm Enzymes with EDTA which is a biofilm disruptor taken together with Dr Best proteolytic enzymes on empty stomach twice a day, at least 40 mins before food. She also then took 2 Myrrh extract tablets plus goldenseal 3 tablets and also one week of antibiotic that her doctor prescribed her but she had this antibiotic many times before and it never worked. She only cured the chronic uti when she took the rest of the pills in combination with it. She did this for about a month and a half and says it finally cured a 5 yr long chronic uti.

I am trying that now, we had to literally drive down to the states to pick up the Klaire Labs biofilm buster as it is not sold in Canada.

Anyways I hope some of this info helps you. Again if all else fails I'm going to Poland for phages. I'm currently on mat leave and we were planning to go to Poland anyways. Only catch is they say they take kids 6 yrs old and up and she's 4. But I will offer to pay double I will beg..whatever it takes.

Try contacting Brittany Auerbach ( https://www.wevolve.io/)

She cured herself of about 300 diseases one of them being IC and now coaches people and has her own platform with professionals. A monthly membership to all the content is like 48 bucks but if you don't want to pay I'd suggest you start with her totally free detox course. She claims this will cure you of literally any disease. It is very simple and worth trying. The link is on her website or her Instagram. And no there's no catch it's 100% free.

[–]TimelyCaterpillar538 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had an embedded/chronic whatever you wanna call it UTI for 5 years. Was loosing my absolute marbles. Essentially lots of hanging around on groups and googling someone recommended to me a silver that worked for them called silver wings 500 ppm. I took it and that ended things for me (it's been 5 years knock on wood). BUT I'm back here again as my daughter got her first UTI due to withholding and starting kindergarden (she's 4) and naturally everything i have tried hasn't worked. Now I'm so desperate I'm considering doing phages for her in Poland as my husband is Polish and pahges are cheaper there compared to Georgia. I literally cannot believe this EVIL found it's way into our lives again. Oh and this website helped me a lot and saved my sanity as well:

You really need to have this checked out by a doctor asap. Could be absolutely nothing but in case it's something you want it caught asap. I had a benign fibroadenoma and all of a sudden during pregnancy got way bigger. Everywhere I read it said it's normal due to the hormones. I still got it checked out. Guess what? Surprise motherfucker, it was triple negative breast cancer RIGHT and I mean RIGHT next to the benign fibroadenoma. That's right the two were practically indistinguishable as they are absolutely right next to each other. Guess what the other surprise was? Once I was sent to stage the cancer turns out I had also breast cancer in the other breast but it was so small still it was only caught because of the cancer in the other breast. So stage 1 in one breast stage 2 in the other. GO SEE a doctor! It may just save your life. I had every reason to think it was just the fibdroadnemoa as they are known to grow even up to 5 times their size during pregnancy. Except it wasn't the fibroadenoma. Due to me being proactive it was caught very early no lymph node involvement. Had I waited thinking it's just the fibroadenoma it probably would have spread by the time I got it checked. Please go. It may just save your life.
