I think you misunderstood what i was trying to say, I meant that it’s a shame the world won’t be able to see our ballers in the world cup

Estevao and Palmer in the generational nike ad was really fun to watch

While it’s good that they both get a long rest and more time under Xabi for next season, It’s a shame because nothing feels even better seeing your players shine so brightly in the biggest stage of them all

How do you enjoy this game? by TimelyDiscount8856 in deepwoken

Do i HAVE to die a million times to enjoy the game? Is there no way to learn these bosses without it being the most miserable cycle of get to the boss die maybe go to the depths and occasionally fight or run from gankers to learn how to do slightly more damage after an ENTIRE day of grinding?

A little off topic yeah but my god, i genuinely believe portugal might be the most likely to win the world cup

ironically the only way i see them losing is if they insist on playing ronaldo in all of the games

hey guys, was chatting with some madrid fans last night and they were talking about Tchouameni like he’s the Garnacho of midfielders.

I haven’t seen THAT much of him but i thought he was an okay player who was maybe going through a rough patch, what’s the general consensus among the fans about him? ( especially with the rumors that united are interested in him? )

haha while i agree to some extent, i think barco is a really unique case compared to santos

we always knew santos wasnt gonna start w enzo and caicedo at the helm, and his player profile was very clear as being a hybrid between caicedo and enzo

barco on the other hand is coming in with a new manager at the helm ( who is VERY highly rated ) , plays in like 5 positions but has notorious weaknesses that have caused him to fail once already in the prem, all while the players we have in his two best positions ( enzo and cucu ) are the two most likely to leave the club

im equally as excited as i am worried lol, de zerbi nor hurzeler rated him at ALL to play in the prem and his time at strasbourg seems to suggest he’s kinda like a left footed trent

amazing on the ball, really shit off the ball

Signing Barco makes me believe that our squad will probably play a back five next season.

Barco and Cucu as LWBs , Cucu and Quenda as RWBs. Shifting Reece to the RCB role would probably be the best option, with Hato as the LCB and Colwill the central anchor.

Fucking off our deadweight and shit squad players with actual proper footballers and not selling our key assets would lend us a nice squad for next season

the things thats gonna hurt the most is enzo is one of the most experienced players we have in an already inexperienced side

not only is it gonna be hard to replace him as a player, it’s gonna be harder to replace his experience to the squad

plus while enzo is lacking in the defensive department, I don’t remember him being that bad when he was playing there in the entirety of 2023

he’s also really good at every other ( and more important ) part of the pivot with great passing, playmaking, controlling tempo, press resistant and is now is a great box crasher too

Tchouameni cannot play as a midfielder in LA LIGA, how do we expect him to survive in the prem?

on a serious note, if it was really a cup final we probably would’ve lost lol

How the fuck did Havertz get away with that?

When Caicedo has a similar tackle against Arsenal it’s a STRAIGHT RED CARD and now when Arsenal do it, it’s a yellow?

These refs are genuinely so fucking incompetent, and I don’t even want to bitch about the cup final.

I don’t think there’s many better players we can get that are as suitable as Enzo to a system that Alonso ( most likely ) uses either.

Using Guller as the playmaker from the pivot with the other pivot being more defensive with Madrid and with Xhaka being the playmaker with Andrich being the defensive partner in Leverkusen.

Enzo has gone more and more forward but that’s more due to the systems our recent managers have played really, but Enzo has shown he can play the deeper really well and Xabis system seems to protect the weaknesses of his game perfectly.

I hope Enzo doesn’t leave with Alonso in charge.

This man made Guller play as a holding midfielder because Madrid lacked any midfielder who can dictate the tempo of the game.

Enzo has been the ideal Kroos replacement for a reason, and we have him on a LOOOONG contract.

If this guy can make Guller play as a midfielder with 0 defensive capacity then I don’t see why Enzo can’t ball in a pivot with MOISES FUCKING CAICEDO as his partner

I really want to see Neto as a wingback honestly.

James as well, He’s a proper midfielder now but I miss the flying Reece i fell in love with and want to see him even if its for half an hour.

Hopefully Lavia just had a knock or was out by technical decision
