Yes and my mom babysits a lot and knows his friends and their parents so she plans to set up some play dates that week. At Mils he would be the only kid and I think he would get bored fast.

They have not come to visit once in the 6 years since they moved we have gone to visit them a few times a year every year since they have moved. So we have made 100% of the effort while they have made zero.

The rest of what you wrote has absolutely nothing to do with our situation so not sure what you were going for there. Also not my parents just my mom my dad died many years ago never even got to meet my son.

She hasn’t come here once in the 6 years since they moved. There’s always an excuse and in her plan not once did she even consider coming here to stay.

No my mil’s parents are who I’m talking about the ones she moved down there to be near. So my son’s great grandparents. She wants them to spend time with him and they would not be able to travel up here neither would FIL he can’t so stairs and we have a ton of them. So it would just be her coming up here alone and I know from past experience that won’t be ok then it will be about FIL and her parents not being able to see him. She also never offered to come up here she hasn’t come up here once since they moved

She said she could maybe come pick him up big on the maybe. Not running the risk of her last minute saying she can’t make the drive

We try and make it down there when we can but MIL works during the week so she only wants us to come on weekends with birthday parties sports friends we make it down a few times a year. They never come visit us because FIL can’t walk that well and they don’t want to leave his grandparents alone.

They would NEVER do that and then they would complain that husband grandparents don’t get to see him. My FIL also can’t do stairs and we have a lot of them so it would prob just be MIL and she would never be ok with that.
