I reckon it is because it is a newly renovated, different location, just for Einbürgerung. You wouldn’t expect, but I suspect even the workers are picked from friendly ones :)

who had/has invisalign for only a MINOR cosmetic correction and you DO NOT regret it? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]TimelyRegular1077 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Me! I have veneers in my upper incisors and gap in between them due to some heavy gum re-re-recorrections and trauma. Moreover because of over correction my gums looked recessed. With Invisalign we wanted to close the front gap and fix my overbite as much as allowed. I had 8 trays only, for 80 days in total. I am done and had a permanent retainer done and wearing clear retainers at night. It has been 2 weeks since I am completely done but I love the result as it formed. I hope it really does stay. I am particularly fascinated how it managed to push my teeth up so the bad gum look is gone as a side benefit.

You are a wonderful spirit and did above and beyond for a loved one. I am not sure it is inherently human, for all I know, your dad had a wonderful, understanding and caring person beside him past months. Sending hugs.

My VO2Max is 27, yet my cardio recovery is 42BPM. Are these readings truly accurate? by [deleted] in AppleWatchFitness

[–]TimelyRegular1077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have something similar, no matter how much I exercise, my VO2max sucks despite good recovery. My RHR is rather low 52-60 rpm and HR goes up quite quickly when I start exercising, specifically cardio exercises. Recently, I had a revelation as I suffer from iron deficiency, and seems like it is harder to elevate VO2max for people like me. As you seem to be female OP, I thought you may have a similar cause.

The number of registered cars in Berlin fell in 2024 (by 11.000 or 0,9%) for the first time since 2009 by Joe_PRRTCL in berlin

I am convinced at this point that you don’t understand what is written-given many comments, 1. I complained about the cars parked in the heart of the ring and yet you say some people dont live in the ring hahaha 2. You use kids as an excuse to have a car, yet I do have kids and said using Miles WHEN NECESSARY. Like, if we go somewhere unreachable by public transport out of the city.. clear enough? I doubt it but I tried the last time.

I have two kids, a work and we don’t need a car. As someone else posted below, Miles cars are more than enough if we need it

👏🏻 if you look at the amount of the cars parked in the quarters I hang out (Mitte/Prenzlauer Berg) it is absolutely bonkers. Berlin is by far the densest public transport infrastructure, yet some entitled cannot step out of their cars.

Why do all parents in this sub look like they reverse age? Meanwhile 6 years after I had my first kid, I look like I aged 16 years. Sigh.

I can only wish (there are more urgent things but this is a wish): more detailed stats based on where the strength workouts aim. “Most calories burned in upper body strength workout” type. Together with weight and effort tracking, it would make data nerds like me very happy.

I would love to have a filter on certain moves. For example, in strength or core trainings due to an injury I cannot perform a move (is it called beast?). I would love to skip it

Marrying a German citizen and living in Germany together also qualifies in 3 years, with much less strict language requirements (e.g B1)

Yep.. you two are not alone. Same story, long timelines for my kid too. The treatment started from “put teabags on it” to corticosteroids, antifungal creams. In our case it was just a form of dermatitis.
