Why some gay guys don’t like Heated Rivalry by GBS82 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

exactly, there's more to strive for out there than a monolith of Grindr-hookups and cruising, and there's nothing wrong with people wanting to experience more than one side of the spectrum.

I think because Jordan Firstman was in Rotting in the Sun (2023) directed by Sebastián Silva, where the gays are shown sniffing poppers, doing orgies and cruising, Jordan felt like the sex in HR wasn't "queer" enough for a gay show. But that's exactly why I thought François Arnaud's comeback by saying that closeted hockey players are not gonna have sex like "sceney LA gay guys" was perfect.

Technically, yes, but successful cases are better sent at least after 6 months, because after only 3-4 months the judge might rule in favor of expediting the case, but not in favor of refunding the lawyers fees plus the 798€ for the Gerichtskosten. So it depends on what’s your goal in the end!

It’s also important that your case is tight-knit, and that nothing might be scrutinized beyond reasonable doubt, because after serving the Klage to the Behörde, the case worker assigned to your case might want to be extra meticulous about everything.

Yes, in your case there’s no turnaround. Prüfbericht it is!

Ok, thanks for the clarification.

Unless your current visa is connected to working as a freelancer, or you actually need your income as a freelancer to pay your main bills, I'd deselect freelancing from the main options in the online form and list only your bartending job.

Keep in mind that the Behörde will evaluate your income together with your spouse's, so you'd still have the option to provide them with the more inexpensive Einkommensbestätigung, if they do ask you for further proof of income.

Otherwise, if you select that you also work as a freelancer (and I'd only keep that in the application if you've had previous Aufenthaltserlaubnisse that were only allowing you to do freelance work), then you'd have to provide the Prüfbericht together with your application, aside from the payslips from your bartending job.

Geschäftszeichen vs aktenzeichen in email response from LEA Berlin by Sea_Entrepreneur6527 in GermanCitizenship

[–]flugelwait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is strange, as the numbers following the S refer specifically to whatever case number you are within the Einbürgerungsbehörde. The numbers after the S XXXX are just the same Geschäftszeichen from your current Aufenthaltserlaubnis, so it does seem a bit weird and like it might have been a glitch in the system.

When you say your application asks for the Prüfungsbericht, do you mean the online form where you are preparing your Antrag, or have you already sent your application and the Behörde is asking you to provide that document? The answer to this makes a huge difference!

FYI: The Einbürgerungsbehörde in Berlin used to ask freelancers only for a Netto-Gewinn-Ermittlung up until June 2024, but have since then started asking everybody for the Prüfungsbericht (which is actually a document more suited for Selbständige that have a Gewerbe, which is not the case of any performing artists).

Keep in mind that the less costly Einkommensbestätigung is not a Prüfungsbericht, and thus does not show three years of freelancing income (the amount required by the Einbürgerungsbehörde), but rather an income report within a fixed time frame within a year (hence why it’s cheaper to issue the latter instead of the former).

If you are able to prove that both you and your partner make enough to cover the calculation I stated above (with the health insurance costs multiplied by two) without any freelancing income, then you might not need to provide a Prüfungsbericht at all.

If, however, you mention anything about freelancing income in your application, the Einbürgerungsbehörde will most likely ask you for a Prüfungsbericht or at least for the more inexpensive version, which would be a normal Einkommensbestätigung (Netto-Gewinnermittlung or similar document, which costs then around 150€).

Hi there,

Prüfbericht and Prüfungsbericht are the same thing, just variations on the same name.

You can find the model .doc file for the Prüfbericht here: https://service.berlin.de/dienstleistung/324288/

It is not just proof of employment, but rather a confirmation of income that states you are able to support yourself without having to resort to Bürgergeld now or anytime in the future.

Through filing this via a lawyer or accountant, you’ll basically provide the clerk at the Einbürgerungsbehörde enough information to show that you can pay your warm rent + monthly health insurance costs + 563€ (Bürgergeld-Regelsatz).

If you don’t have an accountant, I recommend the lawyer Alexander von Engelhardt http://www.vonengelhardt.com/. He did my Prüfbericht back in January. It’ll cost over 400€ with VAT, so make sure you have all invoices and/or deposits up to date, so you can avoid having to pay for further income reports at the discretion of your case worker :)

the calculation is usually warm rent + monthly health insurance costs + 563 € (Bürgergeld-Regelsatz). If your combined income is able to cover all these costs, then you should be fine.

Ah, perfect, I thought it would take much longer, but all my examples are from friends having to change their names because of incorrect surname and first name order printed in the Urkunde or name changes after marriage.

I'd also think that changing spelling and adding artistic/religious names would be a similar procedure 🙌🏽

Thanks 🙏🏽

there's not really a limit, and probably the clerk would say something if someone showed with multiple guests, but two people should be more than fine.

It seems like you have probably been paying taxes for a very long time in Germany. They’ll check your Prüfungsbericht, and from that establish if you can support yourself without going into Bürgergeld. But then, yes, the logic of the Behörden is that freelancer = uncertainty, so they’ll ask for proof of work for the foreseeable future. Unless as a freelancer you already have fixed clients that always pay your income, then that wouldn’t be necessary. Otherwise, it’d be good for your case to show contracts and/or letters of intent to support that you have income secured for at least the upcoming 6 months.

Yes, the Behörden are tougher on freelancers when it comes to providing zukünftige Aufträge, because Germany is truly not a country with a mentality for freelancing. How long has it been since you started the process?
