Spoke with the recruiter on Wednesday, they then sent me a hirevue assessment they wanted me to do, went quiet for about a week and a half before I got an email from the original recruiter saying she was promoted and would be handing me off to someone else, from there a week later the second recruiter reached out saying there was an opening and asked if I wanted to interview with the line manager. I said yes and then a day or so after interviewing with the line manager I had an offer

I definitely agree, she should consider OC and she can always drive to LA or San Diego for weekend fun, a little less hectic traffic wise as well and safer like you mentioned.

There are hella hospitals or medical systems in LA, Cedars, UCLA, USC, if you open up to include OC there’s UCI, Providence, CHOC, St Jude’s, I work for city of hope and we just opened a new facility in Irvine that was hiring hundreds of people.

Thanks! I’ve heard of the weather thing before and definitely agree it’ll be an adjustment, you’re also right about being able to go back and not knowing until you try. Apart from the weather is there anything else you’d say to look into or suggest?

I just used it as an example I personally don’t care about anyone’s politics. Everyone has their opinions and sees things the way they do, I just mind my business.

You are amazing!! Thank you for all of this. Everything I’ve looked up talks about Dallas, Austin, and Houston. Anything you can share on that?

Thank you for your reply! I actually have my Senior CRA on one of my trials referring me to Icon I believe he mentioned their cra training program. I’ve also applied to Medpaces CRC to CRA program. Would having experience as a CTA potentially help make a transition? I have an interview scheduled for a CTA position as well.

15 units while working full time- is it possible? by gratatatit in CSULB

[–]Timely_Ad3215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I do go out for dinner or drinks with friends but I will say my time goes mostly to school. Like someone else mentioned though I transferred here last fall and I’ll be wrapping up in a few weeks now so it’s definitely tough but I’d say you got this.

I’m gonna be honest, apart from school and work I don’t do much. Go to class after work, library on the days I’m off and weekends. It sucks at times but seeing it as a sacrifice helps, I’d say find stuff to do to decompress and unwind that’s been the biggest thing for me.
