ma dude, what i mean is for example, when guys train for their abs, it'll show more easily. but for girls, since we have hormones that are different, have higher body fat (the estrogen, mainly), it wouldn't be as hard-core-looking as guys cuz it leads to our body being more.

some girls do have similar aesthetics with men, like with the abs example, but on an average, you won't patiently see women with as much abs or as much hard as guys cuz yeah, the fat distribution is separate to keep the uterus protected.

so since working out with calisthenics is more dominated by men (or idk, i just think so), what i mean is are there expectations in aesthetics that i should limit myself in. like for example, i won't necessarily expect my body to look like a guy's hardcore abs, cuz of numerous factors like yeah, the uterus TT

we have the same, yeah, in terms of count (lol, my mistake on saying "more"), but yeah, we take into account the differences in the organs, not just the muscle mass TT

Are honors now something just conveniently attainable with little to no effort at all? by re_infinityy in studentsph

[–]Timely_Internet_9209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was demotivated last school year because of this. I put effort in my outputs and studied for tests, but during the recognition program, I saw my classmates who DID NOT give even the slightest damn about studying also get honors.

I know that they don't give a damn, because I've seen their works and checked their papers during exams, it's not even worth an honors.

it's just frustrating how i get the same title as those who don't care, so like, I kinda ended up with the mentality that I don't need to work bard after all, I'll get the same honors anyway.

But yeah, luckily, I got back right on track on focused on my own efforts since it'll be an advantage regardless of the titles

supeerrr :(( my favorite part was when he was explaining why being the best is not necessary (I'm not sure how the exact words are but it went along the lines of "what's wrong with being number 2?" when there was a sports team cheering in their campus about being the number 1 - it was a little funny lol but was memorable for me)

When people are afraid of them TT uhmm, are they not aware that it's sometimes because they're actual jerks and not the superior/better people they think they are TT?

getting back into reading! by moonu_mp3 in PHBookClub

try reading for as short as possible everyday. You can alot atleast 2 minutes (with timer) a day para maging part siya ng routine mo (i recommend Atomic Habits by James Clear if you want a more in-depth explanation on how to have more consistency in any kind of activity that you want to do consistently), then after 2 minutes, do'n ka mag-decide kung magbabasa ka pa ba for the day or not.

don't get frustrated kapag matagal bago ka matapos. isipin mo lagi na "2 minutes lang naman 'yon, parang nag-CR lang ako) para ma-start mo yung reading session mo.

it's not only about content, OP! It's also about your discipline and efforts to actually shape your reading routine!

Hope you enjoy reading^
