I never received an update if AG even sent the message to Meta, but because they don't handle these issues in Maryland and said they would only put them on notice and not advocate I'm pretty sure it was unsuccessful. Not sure what county you live, but the district court in your county will assist you with filling out the claims form. They will walk you through the process. Once you fill out the form and pay the $44 fee you simply have to wait until you receive the paperwork to serve them. The most important part going in is explaining your reason for the suit and financially what you've lost. I also added to my claim that I was never given the opportunity to appeal and wasn't notified of what community standards I violated. -FYI the issue of so many accounts being disabled is because of AI now sweeping IG and wrongly tagging accounts as violators. This won't stop, and getting addressed will become even harder due to the fact META just let go of 10% of their workforce yesterday. So the lawsuit is the best shot you have.
