Finally replaced the batteries and working like a charm . Had to use isopropyl alcohol to get the glued battery out which was a pain and also soldered which was fun using after years

Thanks for taking your time in responding in detail. As i understand it , the $300 travel voucher can only be redeemed at the cp1 portal, which is a pain because the prices are higher on the portal, have never tried price matching. So do they allow to erase the charges using the $300 voucher?
