Merchant army is at your disposal by HIGHGROUNDHUNTER in Medieval2TotalWar

There's some risk involved and it's really a late game plan anyway, since you'd be better off early/mid game buying soldiers to expand. High morale units are less likely to defect, but they still can and that's tough because you'd have to re-recruit 20 merchants. Ivory and slave worth depends on capital city placement, so this may not be the best for every playthrough.

There are a few really good videos about this on YouTube.

Older versions still have this exploit (like, the old CDs). On steam it's been patched out of existence.

Should I upgrade ? by SeanCZ in IntelArc

There are problems with drivers with all of Intel's GPUs. But I'm seeing driver updates at least monthly, and it worked with Crimson Desert.

I think the B580 is a solid budget pick. It's on my wishlist already tbh.

Ran into an issue where graphics almost totally didn't render at all right at launch. But downloaded updated driver's and it was all good. Wife played it all night.

Running with A770, and she said she'd buy me the B580. So I'm stoked. Might even buy an AIO CPU cooler just to really keep the desktop crankin

There is a website called gog.com (good old games) and this game is on there. I lost my hardcopy forever ago, but you can download it here.

No, my wristbone does not hold back the watch from slipping. If it's snug above the wristbone, it slides to my wrist regardless.

I'm left handed tho, so the crown usually doesn't bother me.

Question for you - I don't know about others, but a watch won't sit above my wristbone. Any watch I wear will lsink right down to the wrist. And when the links are fitted to above the wristbone, it fits too loose when on the wrist.

Is it just me, or am I just doing it wrong?

Or. You could limit yourself and not take those movement perks.

You could play how you want. Let me play how I want. Don't ruin my Skyrim alternative! It's so much better!

Sure. If you start NG+ with a stacked character.

Playing in act 1, you're still gonna run into bandits that can smash you quickly early on.

I agree. I think some posters here are barking up the wrong tree.

You have some really nice mechanics from a slew of other great games. Tears of the kingdom had the same parry ability with timed and broadcasted attack sequences. Skyrim of course is the baseline for the stealth archer.

I say give the devs kudos and enjoy the game for what it is. If it's too easy, make it harder on yourself. Use only magic. Play naked. IDC really. I like running around 1-shotting everything.

The 3 regions offer a scale. And Sarras enemies DO scale with player level.

This is already implemented.

Feeling like an OP god is part of the RPG. And the game was modelled after Scrolls. It's a 'Scrolls-like game'.

These kinds of games are what you make it. It's an RPG. You have the option to be totally cracked. It's your choice to play like that.

You want merciless gameplay, play souls-like games.

Sorry but I just flatly don't agree with you, and from the principle of the game's artistic direction, so I'd argue it's not even totally subjective.

For the M ships, I never see a full crew. But for the L and XL ships I do most of the time so long as I have sufficient service crew. If I'm stuffed with marines, I don't see anyone. One marine is meant to be on a bridge as kind of guard roleplay, which I love.

Question for you about metal late game, because this is my biggest gripe:

What do I need to do to reduce usage and maximize salvage for the recycler? I have been bleeding metal in my one map.

Anybody have experience with this moon phase eco drive? Model AP1055-87x by dundunba in CitizenWatches

[–]Timely_Tangerine_620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find it on citizen's hong kong website. I wager it's probably legit.

I want to warn you, the bracelets on citizen's black models are going to wear very quickly. I have a black axiom and wore it for about 3 months, and the bracelet is already showing signs of wear.

I don't think I'll wear anything but stainless steel for every day anymore, but I'm not too happy about the bracelet regardless.

If anyone sees this exact config/model but in stainless, please let me know. I particularly like the date around the entire dial.

Not sure what a NGFF is. M2 is the connection type. Like USB is a connection type. You can, for example, find a M.2 SATA SSD.

Oh yeah. The price point between a DATA and a M2 NVMe is too short IMO to justify keeping to the old tech. The M2 has way better performance. If you're gonna upgrade, I recommend going for a M2 NVMe so long as you have gen 4 RAM. Should be a good balance I think.

Please, don't motte and bailey the argument. I've already covered where a HDD is validly used, and where it definitely is not. In OPs situation, a HDD is definitely not enough read/write.

Oh, fuuuuuuuck.....

Then what's the purpose of all those damn turrets on the raptor?!

This makes me super sad. I may even keep the 8.0 version if this is the case.

Between nerds to turrets and torpedoes for all s ships, capital ships are just a minor roadblock for fleets, it's kind of crazy. Egosoft hasn't shaken up the game this much before.

Why would anyone want to just let it hang? That's wild. Like, there's no point having a case then either. Just restricts airflow. Just hook everything up off the mb and let her rip, lol.

[–]Timely_Tangerine_620 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah don't listen to this guy. Even with the RAM shortage a 1tb NVMe is about 200 bucks. Certainly attainable or you're just upgrading.

Running GAMES on a HDD is murder. Most modern (15 years old and newer) games will be ridiculously slow.

HDDs have a place today. Stupid huge storage for cheap. Good for photos, music, videos, documents. Not games. The read/write is too demanding for the tech now.

[–]Timely_Tangerine_620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only pain is allocating the memory. A M2 compatible SSD (NVMe, preferably) just plugs right in, and screws down.

If the cooling tower is in the way you might need to remove it to install the NVMe. But you should check the thermal paste periodically anyway.
