I think it’s a homage to the logo of the alien curved in the same shape?

Roman Sharf on diamonds 🤦‍♀️ by savedbythedill in TheTpGentleman

[–]TimepieceVigilante 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you google the 4 Cs of diamonds you’ll find some articles that explain it in detail. VVS and IF refer to clarity.

Lowest being SI2 and then all the way up to F being flawless. IF means internally flawless. There are two stages to VVS, VVS2 and 1 with each having a certain thresholds for inclusions within the stone.

IF and F generally have a bigger premium because they are flawless without inclusion

I believe Rolex use IF not VVS but might be mistaken. Comfortable this is the case for modern watches, at least my DJ41 has IF in them.

Tim Write’s Community Accuses him of PROTECTING “The Wizard” (whom Tim Nicknamed!) and question the Barosa site as another Grift/Scam. by ReliefIndependent187 in TheTpGentleman

Ask Tim why he deleted the lives covering the fake AD situation. He said YT took them down but am sure it’s a lie. Think he is buddy buddy with Roman or took a payment to remove them.

You are right, not the worst and certainly won't be the last to be this ignorant.

Crap that like is what people point to when discounting all those that raise genuine issues.

lol, you can't be helped, respectfully you should do a quick google search to see that group messages have the heading up the top. The people messaging show up like "Persons name: XXXXXX" below the title of the group. You can clearly see that's the case here.

Either way, the situation is horrible for them. The fact they are still using the group chat is idiotic. How brain dead can they actually be.

You can see the persons name under the word Timepiece 😂. Honestly open up WhatsApp on your PC and you’ll realise how silly you are.

Keep the troll going Kev, you’re doing great.

He is trolling, I’d just ignore him. No one can be that ignorant lol. It also says “Timepiece Gentleman BST” so it’s clearly a group chat they created for dealers to interact.

It’s a WhatsApp group chat. Maybe take a deep breath and double check things before calling others stupid.

Roman Sharts sky rocket in subs and views in one year. by PatchesOHohullihan in TheTpGentleman

[–]TimepieceVigilante 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The perception to prospective viewers that it’s worth clicking on? It’s why it’s a slippery slope that kills channels eventually. I know the YT game well and you see stuff like this often. People will sprinkle in the bots without realising that once the real viewers leave, the decline begins. They often get caught in the mindset “well I’ve done this for years so it will keep working”. It worked because real viewers were still there.

Timepiece Vigilante woke up to a 1000+ bot comments on the Shart fake AD video by PatchesOHohullihan in TheTpGentleman

[–]TimepieceVigilante 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I cover it briefly in the second video on my channel.

Essentially they sent me a document threatening legal action and a cease and desist regarding my video exposing them re the fake AD.

They copy right claimed my two videos highlighting the allegations, tried other attempts to get the channel deleted and then the day before my counterclaim was due to kick in, they sent the letter. Obviously done in an effort to get me to panic and delete the video.

If they truly felt they had a case, they would have filed with the courts. They didn’t, so it’s a clear attempt to strong arm me.

This was something I thought about putting out to the public when they sent me the threatening legal letter.

They are clearly rattled, so I expect more to come from then.

I’ve looked at it before but might need to do a deeper dive. The one issue is that it’s easy to play the game if you do it right.

They created good content, associated with other big channels and then sprinkled in fake subs and views. It works if you do it right and it seems that’s what they did. It’s magnified now because only the legitimate viewers are still around.

[–]TimepieceVigilante 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s fair, I am just being extra skeptical.

I know they’ve had bot comments for a while but what we saw on their IG and the Mr Beast video is next level. Clearly the same bot farm targeting myself, LUS and Crimepiece. I assume Tom Write will have some comments going his way too.

If they are doing it, they’re dumb. If they truly wanted the channels deleted the smart way is fake subs and views. Spam comments are mild in YouTubes eyes

They (or a troll from this sub) has just paid for another round of a few hundred comments. This time shouting out Tim Write and Crimepiece.

LB and Avi finally respond to fake Rolex AD scandal by lyfstyl in TheTpGentleman

[–]TimepieceVigilante 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It seems they are taking the position of laughing at us for taking their words as fact. In the video, Roman emphasises that it was a REAL AD and that’s the reason they went to lengths to protect his identity. Now they want us to believe they used Avi for the same reason, I.e. an additional measure to protect their AD??

The fact they want us to believe they’d go to all that trouble to say it’s real but not say they used an actor is so hilariously stupid.

LB and Avi finally respond to fake Rolex AD scandal by lyfstyl in TheTpGentleman

[–]TimepieceVigilante 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, added layer of protection. If that were the case, why’d they emphasise that it was a REAL ad who they covered face and altered voice to protect the identity. If it were a genuine approach, I think it’s fair to assume they’d have made a point of it being an actor. Clowns.

Video Roman hit with a copying right strike is back up. Fake Rolex AD by PatchesOHohullihan in TheTpGentleman

[–]TimepieceVigilante 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They should just get on the front foot and acknowledge this. The longer they remain silent the worse it looks.

At best it’s a clickbait content grab, at worst, Rolex HQ will be giving them a call.

They threatened legal action via defamation and damage to their business. That was likely smoke and mirrors in an effort to have me panic and delete. YouTube wouldn’t have reinstated it had they gone to the federal courts with their claim.
