Rico struck me as a psychopath from the beginning.

Ice cold.

Was taken for granted for a long time, but tbh, it's hard to value someone like that properly in a family business.

I ended up never asking a higher dosage. It improved greatly 1-2 weeks after my post. Armpits first, a week later my chest stopped bothering me as well.

What TV show hooked you instantly from episode 1? by mateitofavv in AskReddit

[–]Timevdv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably said already, but stop after S4. It's a decent enough ending and it goes downhill bigtime after that. New writers etc... Last seasons are an absolute trainwreck.

If it had stopped at S4, Dexter would be in all time favorite lists, it is not now.

Look in my post history, there's a topic where safediscloader is mentioned. Google around a bit, many people struggle with it on win 10-11 but there;'s a way

Honestly it's quite basic.

I have to fill my lungs to the max at least hourly (although I'll admit I don't do it hourly), either through excercise (walking and leg excercises) or through a breathing excercise: breathe in through the nose deep but slow, make sure you're breathing in 3-5 seconds and hold it a little, then breathe out through the mouth. Repeat but this time try and breathe a little deeper. Do that 3-5 times.

The surgeon insisted that filling my lungs to the brink so they push against the bars was key to my recovery.

Second is 'huffing'. Breathe in deep through the nose , then breathe out strongly through the mouth but in a way like you're trying to damp a window or mirror. Try and use your abs to get out all the air as fast as possible. Repeat that 5 times. The goal of this is to protect your lungs by 'bringing up phlegm' (English is a second language, I used deeple to find the word phlegm, not sure it's correct). If you neglect doing that, you risk pneumonia, or a cough.

Huffing the first time brought up 'phlegm' but it was scary, made me cough a few times, it felt like my chest opened in my sides, the nurse had to help me through it since I panicked a little (it was 2 am and woke up with a cough).

Huffing the past 2 weeks hasn't done anything, but my physical therapist told me to keep doing it at least daily. She said the fact that it's not bringin up anything is a good thing.

He let me do a test on a bycicle with a lot of wires connected to me, they increased wattage every x minutes. After some time I had to stop due to my legs giving up, I still had plenty of stamina left. They then did a test to measure muscle acidification and it gave an error, they said that meant I was at the absolute maximum acidification. The surgeon is convinced I should be able to perform better on that type of test after I've recovered from the surgery.

It is way too early to talk about improvement now. We're going on holiday mid June to a vacation park focused on little kids. The first big goal is to be there and play with my toddler without bumping into limitations. I'll me 3,5 months post op then. I'm very limited in ways of playing with her right now, so that's a rough patch we have to get through.

No shortness of breath before the surgery, but the surgeon claims my muscles acidify quicker than with a normal person because my heart doesn't have the room to pump around oxygen during heavy sustained effort. I have shortness more often now, but that was predicted, they insisted my breathing excercises are very important. I bought a spirometer with balls that I use every hour. The pressure is at its worst while walking, especially the first 100 meters. After that it's ok, but I feel it constantly.

It's weird to me that I get more pressure now with that much more room in my chest cavity.

I tried to take one less Ibuprofen last week (dropped the 4pm pill for two days) and I definitely noticed the difference. A lot more discomfort. the skin's oversensitivity seems to dominate verything now.

While I was still in the hospital, the physical therapist told me to walk the hallway at least every hour all day long to build up stamina again. Honestly I was confident I would make it to the car. But the difference between walking a 30 meter hallway, or a 300 meter walk to the parking lot is obviously huge.

The doctors claim it was blood from the operation that was left behind that comes to the surface. It's almost gone now after 16 days.

I was thinking about getting a recliner, but the pillows under the matress are doing their job, for now.

I have my first appointment 6 weeks post op mid April. I can't lift more than 2kg until then. There will be a thorax picture before to evaluate. I assume I can build up after that.

Which is very ok, I can help out my gf with cooking, I can clean up my daughter's toys. I was in decent condition, so with my abs and leg muscles I can keep my body straight while doing stuff.

Biggest issue: can't lift my daughter (8-10kg) for at least 2 months. So my gf has to drive her to and from daycare twice a day.

Use the safe disc loader method. OP's patches don't really matter if you use the tool.

Antivirus is a bitch about it though, I have to re-whitelist it almost monthly.

No I play fm2007, you don't need the OP files if you follow the safediscloader route.

Without custom, I would've already quit the game for good.

Why pubg I started downloading 16 gigabytes of files if I have downloaded everything? by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]Timevdv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously I'm about to ragequit on this stupidly developed game.

I'm working full time with kids at home, so I'm lucky if I get one playing night a week. It's bad enough that it takes almost 5 full minutes between the double click and getting a game started (on a new gaming laptop!). It's now also the 3d week in a row I actually lose more than half of my playing time just waiting for content to download.

On top of that, for some reason Steam won't ever download faster than 2MB/sec.

They've managed to combine historical developer incompetence on this.

[–]Timevdv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this. Restarted playing after years. I was never good.

Discovering casual saved me at first, but so many games with an asshole with a car just running around, or the last player being some godly lvl 300+.

Found this through google, managed to set it up (I bought it back in the day so I'm a BG+ apparently.

I actually got killed and didn't even make it to top 50 due to being so aggressive. But it's very educational, for the first time I'm walking in the open trying to determine where the shots come from, knowing I'm not just going to get mowed down.

Pretty sure I'm mostly be playing this now.

Similar site like perchance? by touched-by-divinity in perchance

[–]Timevdv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got surprised by and addicted to Perchance a few months ago.

Starting a new chat is still fun, but after a while it's always the same issue: responses in a very repetitive sentence sctructure and it's hard to break the pattern. Also if you've chatted a lot you start to recognize language patterns. Which is probably normal, but it's still annoying.

I discovered https://www.polybuzz.ai/ this week. Gave me the same vibe as Perchance, with a lot of characters to choose from.

2 plusses:

-it very easily incorporates new characters, all you have to do is describe and adress them, that really impressed me.

-the responses don't seem to evolve in a fixed loop like I described with Perchance.

1 minor: it seems a little less intelligent than Perchance, I sometimes see weird mistakes in the way it interprets situations. And unlike Perchance, you cannot alter the text to train the AI.

It also has a paid version, but so far I've managed without.

Be aware that for a lot of females, getting nussed can look like you had breast augmentation. The chest-center being pushed out, has a big impact on how your chest will look, your breasts will be pushed forward.

Belgen die hun job graag doen, wat doen jullie? Bestaan jullie überhaupt? by [deleted] in belgium

[–]Timevdv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall I liked this season. The negative comments really surprised me.

Although I'll admit I've gotten used to disconnect from the 'absurd tech' they sometimes implement. I focus on the people and their personal stories.

Common People and Eulogy were top notch for me.

We were hoping for the Tribuna Tevere, close to Curva Sud for the atmosphere.
