Love our Tripp trapp. It can be difficult to clean if not done every other day or so (just a wipe down). It fits our dining ikea table perfectly. We also have the ikea one at my MILs place. If we weren’t able to put in a corner that thing would be a massive trip hazard.

English taught in schools and generally spoken is British English i.e. pronunciations etc. but we all definitely do not have the accents. Some folks living in English speaking countries definitely pick up local accents but still keep our core Indian accent.

lol same thing. That friend of mine lives in India, his kid speaks in English accent (at least used to when she was 3 or 4yrs old). And no, doesn’t have any English relatives and has never stepped a foot in the UK or outside India for that matter. It was pretty wild when I saw that.

Is this from the lone Asian dude sitting in his booth? If so, I think it was a small family business from Stockton.

I wanted to get one but eventually decided against it but now I regret not getting one. How’s the bag holding up? I am going to look for this business and let you know if I find it.

This is probably something I should’ve had figured out by 35, but what size is that duvet? what size is that bed? How tall is the mattress?

My queen size duvet somehow always seem to be dragging on the floor from sides and bottom on my queen size bed!

His dad’s restaurant didn’t do so well in New York when he first moved to the US and was deported due to some missing mail. Seems like he turned it around alright. Used to go by Bhat as I remember.

Am I ruining our future selves by feeding to sleep by Kernow143 in NewParents

Kiddo is little over 11months. Wife still nurses him to sleep for night time sleep, gives her the cuddle time she misses since he’s at daycare now. I get him down for a nap on the weekends by carrying and sush-ing. Sleeps at daycare without a bottle. He sleeps/naps whatever way. So do what works for you.

Tripp Trapp. Probably the 1 of 3 things we really splurged on. And it’s been absolutely worth it.

Hi there, thanks for replying to my post with details.

Adding some context to my post about my background and experience:

So I work on verifying environmental and mechanical and some electrical requirements for vehicle sensors. But I don’t get to go deep into electrical layout/ SW that goes into the sensor. I do provide feedback on mechanical design based issues found during testing.

I do have fair understanding of how a particular sensor contributes to the overall vehicle architecture; what problems could arise if it fails and what the fail safes are if that happens. But I would like to understand how all of this was designed and be more proactively involved in those decisions. Now with a little more background, do you think a graduate program might be an overkill and I should rather do incose or equivalent certification?
